Mahoney happened to glance behind her hearing footsteps she saw a boy following behind them for a brief second they made eye contact and she shyly looked away
Carsyth followed mahoneys gaze and saw what she was blushing at. "you dont have to be all the way back there you know. we might not have come on the same ship but we're all on the same boat, you know? she fell back and fell into pace with him. " im carsyth. what about you?"
Adrien looked at the girl talking to him, her long black hair falling over one eye. She had piercings and bright purple eyes. "Adrien." He muttered. He didn't like talking, but he needed to respond. The other girl - who was constantly looking at him - had brown hair with blonde streaks, and had a lip piercing. "My name is Adrien."
" Carsyth. I shapeshift, what about you?" she lowered her voice to a conspiritorial wisper " i think she might have a sligth crush on you. i never used to think crush at first sight was real... she gave a low laugh.
Mahoney fell back to where Carsyth and the boy were "Hi" she stutered sheepishly then blushed snd looked at the ground.
Adrien nodded to Carsyth, and the other girl, Mahoney, and started talking to them too. "Umm..." Adrien didn't wanna talk about his power, he didn't even know these people, and they were already spilling their secrets to him? This really is a Freak Show. He thought wryly. Why would these people all have powers, and randomly be talking about them, in public even!?
"so come on tell us what you can do" mumbled mahoney.
The other girl, Mahoney, kept on pressuring him to tell them what he could do! He walked faster, not wanting to talk to them anymore.
"okay I get it I"ll drop it if your not comfurtable with talking about it." Mahoney mumbled as he picked up his pace
Adrien sighed. Why won't these girls leave me alone? He walked a little further and saw a giant balloon-looking things over the tree line.
Clyde was watching all three of the other teens introducing themselves as he just walked along their side with a small smile. "Carsyth, Adrien, Mahoney," he mumbled softly, trying to memorize their names. He followed Adrien's gaze and noticed the balloon type things as well. "It seems we have arrived," Clyde announced.
Adrien noticed the other guy never introduced himself. "Who are you?" He asked. He saw a bigtop tent up ahead of them as well as surrounding tents. This must be the circus.
Gypsy stood against a tree next her uncle's car, waiting for him to return from under the bigtop tent, where he was talking with an old friend. "Hurry up Uncle Amos." she muttered under her breath, "I have a trapeze act to practice."
Suddenly he emerged, emotionless as always. He was about as cliche as a ringleader could get. Blue, velvet top hat and matching cape, red vest buttoned over his spotless white shirt, and blue pants. His black hair was slicked back under his hat, and his moustache curled a little on the ends. Yep, cliche, cliche and eccentric. But she loved him to death.
"So, how'd it go?" She asked.
"Wonderful!" He smiled a bit, though hardly enough to tell how it really went.
"Great! So we can go?"
"No."
"What? Why?"
"You will be staying here, Gyspy."
"WAIT, WHAT?!?"
"Your bags are all packed, I presume?" He asked, casually.
"So, what, you're just going to leave me here?"
"I promise I will send a postcard whenever possible." Uncel Amos said, pulling her bags from the trunk of his car.
"What...why..who..Where.."
"I promise you, that you will be cared for."
"THIS ISN'T FAIR!!!"
Adrien asked the other guy what his name was and they approached the circus. He saw another girl talking to an older man. He noticed her reddish hair and noticed three girls in their little "group" so far and two guys.
"Clyde," Clyde said, fixing his puppet's position, "This is my puppet, Booki." Once he said Booki's name, the puppet's wooden head lifted up and he waved at the group before falling back limp and lifeless on Clyde's bag. "He's sort of shy," Clyde added, moving his eyes to a yelling girl next to an older man. "Where do we go?" he asked, searching for a tent with a sign that says "Come this way!" or something like that.
((Umm is anyone else going to post because I don't wanna be the only one posting Hahah sorry.))
"hi clyde" Mahoney mumbled softly "looks like we've finaly made it."
Carsyth regretted scaring Adrian and fell further back from the group. she gasped when she caughther first sight of the circus. The tents were all in a uniform black and white, a color chooice she respected because it enabled the true activity and color to be shown through its actors and workers. she had a hopeful feeling in her stomach that she hadnt felt for a long time. she reslly hoped that she would be able to call this place home.
((what when did that happen?))
