((i think it would be safe to start now. so here we go!))
the field was freshly mown and must hung down and seemed to only accentuate the utter emptyness in Carsyths world. the flyer she held in her hand promised that this was the correct spot, that others would come. she couldnt have been the only person to find this camp. she didnt want to be alone anymore.
as Mahoney walked through the feild she saw someone else standing there. A girl and she looked to be about the same age as she.
As Adrien packed up his stuff, ready to move again, a flyer blew to his feet in the autumn breeze. It was a flyer for a camp. A freak show, and the ad said that they were coming nearby. Looks like I have a destination. He thought. He picked up his backpack and started running. The location on the flyer was only a few miles away.
Clyde kept looking down at his flyer then up at the street signs. He assumed he was going the right direction but he didn't see the field. His puppet's, Booki, who was sitting on Clyde's one strap bag he was carrying, arm raised and pointed ahead of him, which would be on the left of Clyde. Turning his head in that direction, Clyde saw the field and thanked his 'friend', whose arm dropped back to its side. As he made his way across the field, he noticed two girls already there. "Hello," he said, trying to be polite.
Adrien ran for a few more miles, and ran up to a field. He stayed in the shadows, and noticed three people all standing there. He looked down at the flyer. This was the right location for the Freak Show. He walked up to the other kids. He seemed to be the oldest, and felt like he was interupting something.
"so just like the flyer said- there are more..." Carsyth looked up and her hair fell into her eyes. she scowled as she pushed it back. "Hi. um, the flyer says to look for the camp without looking. so, like peripheral vision? seeing things from the corner of our eyes? i've been trying it out.... but i didnt want to fully commit to it until ohers came. i was planning on waiting for another 5 minutes but then you guys came...." she broke off, strangely embarassed, " i have been seeing black arrows from the corners of my vision though. can you guys see them?"
Adrien nodded. He didn't speak, but listened to this girl talk. Apparently everyone else here was also looking for the Freak Show. He looked at the flyer, then looked up. A black arrow pointing West appeared out of the corner of his eye. He pointed West.
"into the small woods it is then." as the group started walking she felt the need to introduce herself. " i'm carsyth by the way. i can shape shift. into anything, animals, other humans, my voice... what about you guys? i mean, we all came here for the same reason right?" she huffed a strand of hair out or her eyes and when it fell back into positon she hurridly pushed it away
"I think we need to go west" said Mahoney to herself more than any one in perticular. as she said this she saw Adrien and sheepishly looked down at the ground and blushed.
" hey my name is Mahoney I can change the color of my skin to blend in to anything I want it comes in handy when running from the police" Mahoney said "that is if you ever have the need to" she added quickly
((Tears, you don't know Adrien' name yet))
(( well I was in the feild with Carsyth when you arived))
((Tears, generally your character needs to hear a person's name before they know what thier name is.))
(( sorry to intrude, but Max acn you post to our rp??))
(( okay lesson learned. wont happen again, right tears?))
((oopps well um at least I didn't say it as my charicter.))
((yeah sorry it wont happen again))
((and moving on.))
((Yea it's fine. Just a little tip :D ))
Adrien saw these two girls, and another guy, all walking towards a wooded area. He followed, listening to them introduce themselves. He stayed silent; talking wasn't one of his strong suits. He listened, and focused on whatever the other kids were saying.
