Amelia stood nervously to the side as her mother circled Micheal like a predator, her eyes going over him like a hungry lioness. She stopped and crossed her arms with a huff. "
Micheal was shaking nervously.Honestly she was very creepy and scared him.He kept his gaze to his feet and didn't dare to look up.
"Well it looks like your father chose well, Amelia." She said at last. "He's better than the one he got me. Useless dog..." She shook her head, turning to her daughter. "I expect you'll put him to good use?"
Amelia shrugged weakly. "I'd like to keep him as long as I can, without working him into the ground. But his usefulness won't go to waste."
Her mother nodded and dismissed them, practically shoving them out into the hall before slamming the door.
Micheal looked at Amelia and started walking .A few seconds later he tripped and fell backwards into Amelia."Wahhhh I didn't mean too"Micheal said hurriedly with his face turning red.
Amelia stumbled back but didn't hit the floor. She nearly shouted at him angrily but sighed. "I'm not hurt and it was an accident so don't worry about it." She told him in forced calm. "Are you alright?"
Micheal nodded his head and pulled Amelia up."You shouldn't be concerned about me my lady"Micheal said.After all he was just a slave.
"I am concerned." Amelia protested. "You're my slave and my responsibility, and if you're hurt, I should know so that I may take care of it. I want to make sure you're taken care of. Even animals are treated well enough to be cared for when injured." Or put down in some cases...
Micheal had no argument against that.He stood in silence for a few seconds before asking."Anything you like me to do my lady".Then he waited paitently for a soon to come answer.
Amelia crossed her arms. "No one is around to hear, I asked you to call me Amelia." She started walking again. "What if I don't even want a slave? What if I just want a friend who isn't a snobby slave-owner?"
Micheal gasped in suprise.He went pale and speechless.This was the wierdest thing to happen to him.A few second passed by before he spoke again."Okay Amelia"He said quietly.
Amelia paused to frown at him. "I'm asking you to make a choice, Micheal. Do you want to be a slave and my friend, or just a slave?"
"Amelia"Micheal started "I wanna be your friend".He then smiled.
Amelia smiled, hugging him and giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Okay. I...I don't like making you work, but if I don't 'put you to good use' as my parents would say they might take you away." She stepped back from him. "But as long as no one's around to get us in trouble you can act and speak freely. okay?"
Micheal's face turned red as Amelia kissed him on the cheek.He nodded to Amelia what was saying and said"Yes Amelia".

Amelia couldn't stop smiling as she practically bounced down the halls to her room, not even checking to see if he followed. (Oh no! :( )
