A group of ordinary seeming teenagers from different places with different backgrounds are summoned to a special school for training and keeping dragons. They all have power over one natural element, and are given a dragon according to their element. There is a darkness rising in the world, that only they and their dragons can defeat. The roleplay begins when each one is attacked by a dark figure, and rescued by someone who appears quite powerless or normal.

~can be romance, but not mature romance
~I will introduce the new locations when we get to them
~you will create your creatures dragon (be creative, and give details) when we get to that
~Lit. and somewhat Ded. (try to be on every day or every two days, but I'm flexible)

Name: Eleanor Chase
Age: 13
Element: Water
Appearance: Bony, all limbs, with bright green eyes and strawberry blonde hair. Keeps it in a long braid, most of the time. A bit tall for her age, 5'7" ish. Sharp features, and very freckly.
Clothing: Prefers being barefoot, but when she does wear shoes usually wears an old, worn pair of lime green rainboots. Has a bunch of faded graphic tees that she prefers to wear. They probably have some really geeky joke, or an incredibly bad pun on them. She loves jeans. She hates formal clothing.
Biography: She grew up in a small town in Labrador, Canada, with her mother, her older twin brothers, Dominic and Tristan, and her younger sister, Celia. Eleanor's parents divorced when she was very young. Her father lives in Montreal. They rarely see each other, but Eleanor never really misses him. Her mother was by no means wealthy, but they get along. They have six acres of land, and a large garden, where they grow herbs and berries. Her family was very close, and she had one or two close friends at school. She lived in a very small town, the kind of place where everyone knows each other. She generally had a happy childhood. She barely knows her father, who never remarried.
Other info: She did gymnastics for nine years, and is quite good at it. She is mature and intelligent for her age, outspoken but logical. She will forgive anyone, and gives second chances very easily. Her friends are like her family, and she will defend them with her life. She is naturally energetic, the kind of girl who always has a smile on her face. She is motherly and kind, but gives up easily. She loves anything mint flavored and hates itchy clothes. She loves classic rock. She is only slightly cross-eyed.

Location: School morning

It was like every other day for Siva Cardelle. She slung her backpack over one shoulder and trudged out of the house, with a quarter of a mile walk to the bus stop. It wasn't as if her family didn't have time to drive her to school; they just didn't want to. She sighed heavily as the screen door clicked shut behind her. The woods along their thin farm road that had once seemed dense and impenetrable had thinned out with the tumbling autumn leaves. Her backpack was heavy with school books, and her dark hair shielded her eyes. She slipped from shadow to shadow, afraid of being out in the open where anyone could see her.

Azreal waited on a bench by the road, it had began to rain heavily and he just sat there without even a hood, as the bus pulled up infront of him he stepped on, payed his fees, and left a trail of water as he walked to the middle of the now crowding buss, but even though it was crowded people made room to avoid Azreal, as his face was hidded under his dripping white hair, his uniform soaked through.

As she reached the bus stop, the long, sunshine-yellow school bus that had always made her wonder why they paint buses yellow screeched to a stop, full of kids tossing around paper airplanes and straddling each other against the windows. Yep. Just another typical morning. She stared at the ground as she walked, a habit that her mother had told her to break. She never tried. The stairs were slippery with morning frost that had melted against the childrens' shoes, but she climbed them with the formidable balance she'd always had.

Isalee said goodbye to all of her animals before getting into her mom's car. The only thing about living in the country was that they had no accessable bus service and had to drive everywhere. Sadly, that included school. SInce she was only 15, Isalee couldn't drive yet but she was waiting on that day when she finally could. Driving was slow, but she still got to school a good ten minutes before the school opened as always. She got out of the car and went to sit down on a bench in the small overhang by the school door.

"Sorry," Siva muttered, ignoring the person behind her. She could not remember the last time she had looked another person in the eyes. She ambled to the back corner of the bus and dropped her backpack by the window, where she rested her chin on her fist and stared the the land that had begun to flash by.

Azreal sighed and sat on the seet opposite Siva, playing with a little clear blue gem in his hand, wich made the sunlight bounce of it perfectly
with a hiss and a little jolt, the buss stopped at the school, it was the new school year so the school was very busy, Azreal was a senoir all the teachers knew so he held n hesitation in bothering to find what classes he had, he instead walked into school and up onto the roof

Siva leapt up from her seat, eager to escape the crowds and noise of the bus. She walked along the sidewalks and into the school building, aware of a fresh feel to the walls around her. A random person behind her stepped on her cloak, and she fell face first ont othe hard tile hallway. The kid laughed as she yanked the cloak out from under his foot and shot him a glare that she hoped would make him think twice about doing that. Not that she wasn't used to it, but she preferred to go on with her life more or less peacefully.

The cool breeze rushed through Eleanor's hair as she biked along the side of the road furiously. Even though she had taken a shortcut through the woods, time was not being her friend this morning, and teachers always hated when you were late to class. Why had she decided to bike to school again?
One more turn in the road, and the old building was finally visible beyond the thick oak foliage. Eleanor's ankles hurt, but being late was simply out of the question. The breeze picked up. She pedaled harder. The building drew into sight: big, intimidating, and definitely nothing like her old school in Labrador.
Finally. She slung her backpack over her shoulder, and locked her bike to the bike rack. Unsurprisingly, it was the only one. A couple of students were still trickling into the indimidating wooden doors, but most people were probably at class already.
Eleanor sucked a big breath in. Her knees were jittering. She had no idea what this big, new school would be like.
Come on, she told herself. You can be brave. And picking up her head, she strode up to the entrance, and yanked open the door.
