Norse mythology and the old Legends of Native Americans tell of the ability to use animal skins to transform into an animal. That's all they are. Right? Legends? What if you were dead wrong?
Descendants of Native Americans and Celts/ Irish/ whoever believed in the Norse mythology have passed down the old animal skins that their family has treasured for years. They were told to keep them safe until one day they would be needed to save the world.  That day has come.
Little does the last generation know what powers  the old dusty furs have until they are gathered together and informed by the Elders, who have been taught and have kept the Truth alive, that they are actually descendants of Skin-Walkers. The people who could use animal skins to transform into wolves, bears, foxes and more.
And they have a duty. They must now stand up against an old evil that their forefathers had fought. And if they fail it will destroy the world.

More Info: You can either be of Indian descent or Norse.  You can have one animal skin. Make it realistic. An Indian wouldn't have a tiger skin- but you could substitute for mountain lion.

Name: Finn Fitzpatrick
Age: 17
Descent: Norse
Animal fur: Wolf
Personality: Finn is a compelling individual, prone to extreme mood swings and reckless behavior. He can be charming one second and violent the next, and it's hard to figure out what sets him off. One thing that is always consistent in Finn's behavior is his fun loving attitude and hatred of structure and limitations. He can't sit still, and if he must, he will be vibrating out of his seat. The key to dealing with Finn is to keep him occupied, as he is easily distracted and bored, causing him to start trouble.
Appearance: Finn is average height with an athletic build and long limbs. His hair is a bit overgrown and reddish blonde. Finn's eyes are slanted and a pale blue in color with dark limbal rings. In his wolf form, he is a large gray wolf with red and blonde undertones and yellow eyes. He wears jeans, red sneakers, a Led Zeppelin T shirt, and a green cargo jacket. He also wears a necklace that is a family heirloom, a celtic triskelion with a gold stone in the center of each spiral.
Background: Fairly normal life growing up. He was one of three children, his mother worked a lot and his dad was for the most part absent, so they learned to fend for themselves. Finn has always been getting into trouble, starting when he was in school. It's mostly stupid things, like drinking to much, getting into fights, taking cars for joyrides, and riling people up so he has an excuse to fight them.

((Umm Skin-walkers is only Native American myths. And they were very simmilar to what we considered witches.Plus they were killed on spot.Anyways you can only can become a Skin-walker if you kill a close member of your family like your brother or sister. And they lost their human mind and became barbaric. And Skin-Walkers are mostly ascioated with coyotes and not wolfs. The only good thing about being a skin walker is you can't be hurt by bullets and you can mimic voices.))

((They are a part of Norse. They were mainly bears and wolves. They went to war using their furs instead of armor. I was not aware about about the Native American legends where they turned into them because of killing someone. Sprry about that.))

((There are skin-walker myths from pretty much every culture in the world. The Celtic myth said that they were protectors of the clan, same with the Norse myths. And skin-walkers in native American myths were typically warriors or shaman, also intended to be protectors.))

((Well, since this is fiction and all, we will pretend that they are GOOD skin walkers who didn't kill anyone to get their ablities. Sound good?))

((if you look carefully most races in anceant times used animal hides in war, in anceint china Atilla the hun worse a wolf hide, in anceant japan the hides where worn by spiritual healers and to assasins))

Alexander grew weary of his life behind walls and in chocking clothes, yet he waited in the gardens with anticipation as today was the day his martial arts master came to take him to the temple in the mountain, where few humans had ventured, must to his parents discust he could not hold his eagreness and soon after his Sensei arrived he bid his family fare well and travelled up the trecharous icy mountain sides.
he had set of at dawn but it was now dusk and began to grow very dark, his sensei told him to close his eyes, wich on a narrow road with a 50ft drop seemed like suicide, but he trusted his sensei and his instincts. and soon the moon rose shining new light, as before him stood the temple lost in the mountainside (the start of the journy)

Eliza shoved her grandmummy's chair over a rock as she hiked up the moutain. "How...pant...is this pant a vacation?"
"Quit your fussing, Eliza." Grandmummy chastized.  "We are almost at the top anyway. Besides I never said this was a vacation. I said it was educational."
"Yeah," I agreed as I shoved her up the mountain side, "But you left out the part about no stairs or cars and me pulling you to the top of a mountain! I said I wanted to start hiking but this is rediculous!"
"We're here," Grandmummy gasped.
Eliza looked up. There was a very elegant building at the top that looked like it had a large garden in the center of it.  She felt a tingle go up her spine and pulled her backpack closer. What was this place?

"When we get home, I'm gonna get you a nice soft room at an asylum." Finn said, following his uncle through dense foliage. The incline was steep now, Finn's uncle had taken him on a wild goose chase up a dam.n mountain, and for what? He was being all cryptic, but he promised Finn wouldn't be disappointed. What did the crazy old man know? "Sounds nice, maybe I'll finally get some peace and quiet from you and your mutant siblings." Finn rolled his eyes, but didn't say anything. His uncle was under the impression they were all the effects of radiation poisoning, all cause he and his siblings didn't work in predictable patterns. Then the foliage tapered off, and there was a giant elegant building that popped out of nowhere. Finn looked around, confused, not sure how to react. "That's really there, right?" He asked his uncle. It seemed so out of place. "Idiot..." Was all his uncle said, before walking up the steps to the building and waving Finn over impatiently.

Eliza looked the two guys up and down. They weren't too bad looking actually.
"Hello," Grandmummy smiled at one bowing to them, "You must be Alexander. My you've grown since the last time I saw you.  She turned to the other, "And Finn! My, my you are so grown up."
Eliza shot her Grandmummy a look. How in the world did she know these people?
Eliza managed to catch her breath and brush her red curly hair off of her face. "Hey. I'm Eliza."

Finn was confused to say the least, he had no clue who this woman was. He had never seen any of these people before. "He ain't much, but he's the only one with a drop of magic left in our family. It's been diluted through the generations." His uncle said, and FInn stared at him.
"What's this magic talk about, old man?" He asked his uncle.
"Oh, nothing, we just come from a long line of shape shifters going back to the celts of Connaught." His uncle said simply. Finn was lost. It probably wasn't the strangest thing he had ever heard, but it was definitely in the top ten.
"So where does that leave us?" Finn asked no one in particular.
