Ace smiled. "Coffee sounds good. Uhm, here." He pulled out a piece of paper from his bag and a pen and scribble his number neatly on the paper. "Call me and let me know when you're decided." He smiled.
Siarra nodded, smiling. "Alright then. I'll give you a call." There was a slight pinkness in her cheeks, even though they weren't talking about a date or anything. It was just coffee. As friends. Right?
Ace smiled. He was pleased. "Great. I'll, uh, see you later, then." He started to back up to turn.
"See you later." Siarra said with a smile.
Ace smiled as he turned and walked away. Things were going great. This was the first time in a long time he had clicked so well with another person, let alone a woman.
All of this left Siarra in a really good mood. She kept the number close, and later in her apartment, she called him.
Ace hadn't headed for home, rather, having packed his skateboard among his textbooks, he had headed for the closest skate park. He had almost flipped forward at the wrong time when his phone went off in his pocket. He stopped and quickly answered. "Hello?"
"Hey, Ace, it's Siarra. I was wonering if, er, you wanted to change that coffee into dinner?" She bit hsr
She bit her lip as she waited for an answer.
Ace smiled. "Yeah. Sure. Uhm. Give me a few, and I'll meet you out in front of the main apartment building. See ya."
Siarra smiled. "Alright, see you soon!" She sounded happy. She was happy. She felt like her heart was going to burst.
Ace smiled widely as he put is phone nd skated off in the direction of the apartments. About ten minutes later he arrived and was to pleased to see Siarra.
Siarra smiled once again when she saw Ace. A bit of nervousness creeped up on her. It's not a date, we're just going out as friends! Why am I getting so worked up? Then again...maybe she wanted this to be a date.
Ace was very happy to see Siarra, his heart pounding lightly. "Hey. I uh, have some things to put in my apartment, if you don't mind."
Siarra shrugged, "It's fine, want me to come with you or just wait here?" She sort of hoped he'd let her come with him.
((currently looking like a school boy...Woe is me...))
"You can come, if you want to." Ace smiled invitingly.
Siarra nodded with a smile. "Okay, I'll come along."
Ace smiled and led the way. He hsitated at his door. "Fair warning, it looks like nerd haven in here." He referred to his posters of anime and Star Trek, the REAL nerdy stuff. He opened the door and let Siarra and himself in.
Siarra cast a quick glance about and stiffled a giggle. "It's not that bad...You just haven't seen my room."
ACe groaned. "You should see my room, it's worse than this." He gave a soft, uneasy smile. HE walked to his room down the hall and opened the door, tossing his bagand skateboard in.
