Ace spotted Siarra and stared to walk her way. Once he got in earshot and spoke. "Hey, Siarra. How's it going?"
Siarra shook her head. "Today is just a bad day." She told him. "What about you?"
Ace frowned at the thought. "My b1tch of a teacher lost my project. It really ticked me off."
Siarra laughed. "If I'd made it to class, something like that probably would have happened."
"You didn't make it in time?" Ace was shocked.
"My alarm didn't go off this morning. Well, it did, but I'm such a heavy sleeper it takes a few times for it to go off. My roommate turned it off without waking me up. I completely missed class." Siarra sighed. "And then my roommate tells me she's moving out. I can't pay rent on my own...but I don't want to get just anyone as another roommate to help pay rent."
Ace got an idea. "I'll help you pay your rent. Free of charge." He had a decent job, and always had a surplus of money on hand.
Siarra shook her head. "No way. I don't take hand-outs. I'm only going to accept money from someone actually living there."
Ace looked sad. "It's not charity, but fine. So what are you goin to do about it?"
Siarra sighed. "Find a roommate. Hopefully if it's a guy it's someone I can trust not to ra.pe me." She shook her head. "I don't actually live on campus. I live in an apartment right off of it."
"That's funny, cuz I don't live in a dorm either.... I live about a few blocks away.." ((make them coincedently live in the same building??))
(Sure.) "Really?" Siarra crossed her arms. "Where at? Which one?"
"Orchid Square. It's pretty nice." Ace smiled.
Siarra laughed. "I live there too." She shook her head. "We're technically neighbors and I can't believe I've never seen you before."
Ace laughed. "I stay out late at night. I don' t home till the wee hours of morning." He looked skittish.
Siarra shrugged. "I'm a night owl, I just don't get out often. When I go out, guys on skateboards run be over." She joked.
Ace laughed. "I'm still feeling horrible about that. I'm accident prone. So what are you doing later? Maybe we could do something."
Siarra shrugged. "I don't really have plans. Maybe you want to come over? Or we could go get coffee or something."
