Ace pulled out a tissue and offered it to her. When he got a quizzucal look, he explained. "As a skater, you get scraped up pretty easily." He smiled. "i'm Ace. Ace the Attacker, apparently." He laughed.
Siarra smiled weakly as she took the tissue and cleaned up her hands, although it looked like she might need a bandage or two. "Thanks..."
Ace was taken by surprize at her. Most people, the first thing people noticed were his scars. They then began to stare. He guessed the main cause of his curse was his loveof short sleeved graphic tees. He was glad she hadn't stared. "You need anything? Like a bandage?"
Siarra had noticed his scars but ignored them, thinking it rude to stare or ask about them. "Yeah, that would be convenient..."
"I don't have any on me at the moment, but I have some money. If you'd like to wait." The happened to be, convienlently, a Walgreens across the street.
Siarra shook her head. "i can buy my own. It's just applying them where the difficulty comes in."
Ace laughed a bit, but it lasted for more than a few seconds. "That's pretty funny. Mine usually end up sticking to my fingers instead of the scrape."
Siarra smiled. "Well come on then. Between the two of us I'm sure we can get it at least halfway right."
Ace laughed, but was confused. "I think I may have hit my head a little too hard." He gave a half-smile.
Siarra sighed. "I'm asking you to please come help me. It's the least you could do considering you're the reason I'm hurt in the first place."
Ace's face went red in embarassment. "Uh, sure. It kinda was my fault." He smiled and chuckled nervously.
Siarra took his hand in hers and led him right across the street.
Ace blushed and let her lead him. Her hand was nice and warm and moist. It was a bit awkward.
Siarra released his hand as soon as she was sure he got the idea he was supposed to follow and grabbed a box of bandages in the store before taking it up to the counter.
Ace smiled at the cashier. Well, this is the most awkward day I've had since middle and high school. He waited for the item to be rung up.
After paying, Siarra led him outside to a bench and sat, hanging him the bandages. "Now help? Please?"
(( you know my ears are gauged, right?))
Ace took the box, opened it, took out a bandage, unwrapped it, and took Siarra's hand and bandaged her knuckles. "Anywhere else?"
((What?)) Siarra shook her head. "Just my hads." She told him. "Thanks. You can keep the rest of the bandages." She got up and started to walk away.
(( MY. EARS. ARE. GAUGED.))
Ace stopped her quickly. "I-I didn't get your name." Slick move, genius. "Maybe I could make it up to you, some time." He continued jokingly. "You DID, save me from bleeding to death, ya know." He gave a reassurring smile.
Siarra rolled her eyes. "I'm Siarra, and yes," Her tone growing sarcastic. "You certainly owe me your life now."
