"There had better be," Sam sighed beause I certainly am not going to fit down that tiny vent.
He looked around the cave. "Hey...whatever happened to that little kid anyway? The one in chains?"

"I can go back and check if you want?" Sharina offers, cocking her head to one side so her hair fell into her eyes.

....He glanced at the vent. He hoped Juste could find something to help them out. And maybe they could find the kids and Santa and make it back before his parents gave up on him.

Juste came to another vent enterance and peered out, this one led into a cell. This cell had some young looking kids in it, younger than him, some his age.
"Bliz, go back and tell what I found. Imma try and talk these kid, and then see if I can find away to get out of here, OK?" he said quietly to the fairy.

BLizzard flew back through the vent "We found some kids!"
"What?" Sam shouted excitedly, "Really? Where?"
Blizzard shrugged. "I'm really not sure how to get there only that you should keep going down the hallway."
Sam nodded. "We'll try to find it. You go back to Juste and tell him we are on our way and to not get into trouble."
Blizzard nodded and flew back in the vent.
Sam looked at the others and hurried down the hallway. "Let's go girls!"

Rai rolled her eyes at Sam's words but followed him anyway. She felt Achi by her side and sighed. "I just want to go home and find Iysh." She complained slightly.

Juste used his doll to unscrew the vent and he then crawled out. The poor kids look scared, some looked hurt.
"No need to be fraid." he said smiling, "I good buy, I gonna help you." he said his english worsening as he got excited. On of the girl, a tiny four yeard with stringy blonde hair and dark green eyes looked at him.
"You're...you're not...it?" she asked.
"No I not bad beast, I good." Juste said, he looekd over at the girl.
"I'm Juste." he added, trying to make himself sound more educated and better at english.

Sam marched down the hall looking for something. It seemed to mostly be solid ice walls though. Sam shone his light on everything as he limped past.
Finally they came into a new room....and a new problem. There were three different hallways that led in different directions.
"Great," Sam sighed. "Where do we go now?"

Juste rinned at the children,
"See my friends coming and they're gonna help you guys get home safe...ly." he said. He looked around the room, some children still looked frightened, mainly the ones around his age. A little booy who was probably about 8 glared at Juste with his arms crossed on his chest, the boy was African American and had a splotchey bruise on the side of his face. Juste hung his head when he saw the boy glaring.
"I'm sorry if you don't like me, but I'm telling the truth, we're gonna get you home safely." he said.

Rai licked her lips and sighed. "I'd suggest that we all split up. I have Achi and Sharina has her partner, but you? You're injured and you don't have no one to watch your back since Blizzard flew back to Juste." She commented.

Sam felt his cheeks grow red. Here he was again, being a burden to people. Just like when he'd been sick.
He looked down at his leg- judging its injury. It hurt and it was bleeding some, but he could use his gloves to fight anything off.
Maybe it was stupid pride that made him say what he didn next, he didn't know. He just knew that Rai was right about needing to split up.
"I'll be fine. Juste and the kids are the most important right now. You two take the other paths. I'll take the one to the far left."
He walked toward it, putting up a bravo and not limping even. He couldn't be the one that held anyone back. He took a deep breath and walked into the tunnel.
