((Great minds think alike ;] ))
It was a quiet evening. The forest was still and the wind wasn't blowing. Leif sat up in a nearby tree, watching a deer as it grazed. It was a large creature- a 12 point- but it was not the game he was after. Today he was hunting a boar that had been ransacking nearby men's towns.
The deer's ears pricked and it suddenly bounded away. Leif sat up straighter. And looked into the distance. A smile crossed his lips as he could see the boar running to get a drink from the stream he was by.
Leif notched an arrow and waited. Waiting for the giant beast to come a little bit closer. He had a bet with his brother that he could take it down with less than five arrows. His brother was jelous of his skill, one that only his great uncle could match.

Dia was sitting on a rock, looking peacefully at the beautiful animal that elves called a boar. He was not boring! He was gorgeous. She called him Clay. Slowly, she began whistling and his ears perked up. He looked towards her and she swore that he almost smiled.

((I can already see problems with this relationship haha))
Leif took careful aim. He held his breath and carefully held as still as he could. He knew that if he moved even slightly he would send the arrow astray.
He flexed his fingers and exhaled slowly before letting go of the string. The arrow whistled through the air...heading straight toward the beast's eye.

She looked up at the sound of a different whistle and her eyes widened. Quickly, Dia threw her hatchet at it, breaking the arrows midflight. Clay howled and took off into the woods.

Leif brought down his bow in anger. What does that girl think she's doing?!
The boar ran off into the trees and was gone in a matter of seconds. It wouldn't be hard to track it. It's path was very obvious, but that wasn't the point. That girl had blocked his shot and destroyed his arrow.
Leif jumped down from his tree and shouted at her, "What did you do that for?"
Nov. 2, 2012 at 6:17 pm
Dia leaped down and stormed up to him. “You would have killed the poor animal! What did he ever do to you?” Without waiting for an answer, she drew back her fist, ready to give him a good smack up in the face.
Nov. 2, 2012 at 6:26 pm
Leif swiftly stepped aside. He would've showed her a thing or two had she been a boy, but he knew how that would look. "That beast has been ransacking men towns within a thirty mile radius! I was coming to preform a favor for humanity by ridding them of the destructive creature!"
Nov. 2, 2012 at 6:30 pm
She scoffed. "Men. Humans should send someone to tame and calm Clay, not murder him in cold blood!" Dia stepped closer to him, their chests nearly touching. "Don't you dare ever come near my baby again!
Nov. 2, 2012 at 7:55 pm
"Baby?" Leif scoffed. "You actually trained it to attack innocent women and children and to destroy their crops so they starve in the winter?" He looked down at her and couldn't help but smirk at how short she was.
Nov. 2, 2012 at 8:57 pm
Dia growled. "YOu *censored*. I didn't train him. We're friends, me and him. He's not the one doing it! It was probably some stupid elf."
Nov. 3, 2012 at 8:46 am
That made Leif mad. "An elf? An elf?" he shouted. "It was probally some fat dwarf who wanted some more ale!!"

((BTW, Liberty, in ~BOOK JUMPERS~ we have started a new Realm. It is LOTR :P so go and post a skellie if you want to be in it (We missed ya in the last one) ))
Nov. 3, 2012 at 9:07 am
Now, that made Dia mad. She leaped on him suddenly, tackling him down and she began to pound him in the face.
Nov. 3, 2012 at 9:22 am
((YAY! I'm glad I was missed. Don't Leif and Dia rock?))

((Uh totally!!))
Leif took a few hits to his nose- which busted- before successfully rolling over and pinning her to the ground. Dwarves were a lot smaller than elves but they were also solid muscle so Leif made sure to get a firm grip.
"You are the rudest creature I have ever met! And to think my uncle said you were noble creatures!"

"I'm glad to hear that one elf had some sense! My great-grandfather always said that elves were gentle creatures. Seems like i was wrong about that too!"
Nov. 3, 2012 at 12:36 pm
"Well your grandfather wasn't as rude and pig heaDed as you!" Leif shouted and got off of her. He brushed himself off and turned and started to head off after the boar.
Nov. 3, 2012 at 1:16 pm
Dia leaped to her feet and flew onto him, tackling him to the ground again. "No way will you take him. I won't let you!"
