Monikya smiled, glad someone noticed her knowledge. "The gods beat the titans because the cyclops were grateful because the gods released them from Tatarus, so they made them the master bolt, trident, and helmet. The weapons helped the gods beat the titans."
Monikya smiled. She felt smart, for once. She looked over to see Tristian looking rather tense, his jaw clenched and his eyes locked on the teacher. What's wrong? She asked him. She wondered if he was mad because she knew more than him, and if she embarrassed him.
Monikya looked at Tristian oddly. She didn't think he was weird. She looked back at the teacher. Now that she was looking for it, she noticed that his ears looked rather pointy, and he was rather tall, and his arms looked unaturally long. She wondered what it was...
((Something like that. I don't know what though. Help me?))
((Sure! Just give me an explanation of what that is.... XD))

((This is what I found:
Dark elves are known for their aggression, deceit, and stealth. They are very brutal and cruel by nature, having little mercy when it comes to cheating, battling, or anything dealing with the life of another being. They have little respect for even their own kind, at times waging war against each other. However, clans are known to band together, to combat invasions and attacks by other races. They do not mix blood with other races. They lurk in dark places and love the shadows. Rarely will they come into the light for needless purposes, but it is not usually believed light will harm or weaken them. Their weakness varies upon legend, and may include excessive heat, rain, nettles, or the blossoms of some plants and trees. Dark elves generally travel in pairs or groups, as their tendencies towards cheating and theft make them targets for retaliation and violence at the hands of other races.))
Monikya looked at the teacher. She also looked around the room. She noticed that all the windows were tainted so little light got through, and that there were many posters about how cheating and stealing is bad. He seemed like a really strict teacher, no nonsense for either of the crimes.
((The power of Google saves the day!!! XD ))
Monikya flipped through the book under her desk. It was a textbook, titled Creatures and Myths - fact or fake?
It mentioned a bunch of different creaures, from gods to werewolves. She moved it in between her and Tristian, so he could see to.
((Do you want them to find out now?))
Yea that would explain how we always had the weirdest things happen to us. She thought of Try's eighth birthday. Try was getting ready to blow out the candles on his cake, when a giant just of wind came in and blew out all the candles for him. Monikya was standing in the corner, watching him, pretending to blow out her own candles. Remember your birthday? She flipped through the book, stopping on a page with a very odd title. What does that say?
((OMG everyone won't shut up about politics :P It's so annoying! Urggg I'm glad I have TI to escape to *huggles*))
Monikya looked over at Try. What does that mean? She pulled the book a little closer and read some weird word that started with a D. It had a lot of accent marks, and looked really weird. How do you pronounce that? Under the weird word, there was a translation.
Dark....elf?
Monikya put the book away. But instead of putting the book back under her desk, she slipped it into her bag. *I will read this later* She decided. She looked over and saw that Tristian looked tense. And also how he snapped at her....something was up. What's wrong? She asked. She was kinda afraid what he would say though.
((Yea some posts got deleted. It's ok))
Monikya looked at her brother, then looked away. He had been acting weird all day. She heard the bell ring, and - without giving Tristian another look - dashed out of the class to English down the hall.
