"I missed you, too." He whispered back even though he could tell she was asleep.
He sat down heavily in the bedside chair and stared at his bloody hands. This was all so confusing, he didn't know who he was anymore.

((Well I was thinking maybe they'd have to make a run for it at some point, when the doctors find out that their story doesn't check out, or maybe one of the doctors could recognize one of them. :/ *shrug*))

Four hours went by and Dukani never left the room. He'd called for a sandwich an hour ago, but, even though he hadn't eaten anything in two days, he could only get through three quarters of it. His starved stomach wasn't used to that much food.
The door opened and he jumped, but it was just a nurse, a girl of maybe nineteen. She smiled at him and replaced the IV bag, then left again.
He watched her go. As she walked down the hall a man grabbed her arm and started talking to her. Her eyes went to the floor as she answered. Kani swore quietly: the man was wearing a military uniform.
He half closed the door silently and ran back to Andy's side, touching her arm, "We've gotta go." he said, taking the IV bag off its hook and grabbing a robe for her.

Andy stirred "OK..." she was half asleep and she felt almost heavy. It got harder to think as the new IV dripped into her system "I think she put a seditive in my IV." Andryah couldn't feel the panic through the fog of the dĀ®ugs.

"Maybe," Dukani mumbled, picking her up. There was a folded wheelchair in the closet, and he kicked it open and set her down in it. He peered out the door, and at the same time another soldier stepped out of a different door right next to him.
Kani broke his neck before he could call for anyone else, and pulled his dead body into the room before wheeling Andy out.

Luckily, they made it to an elevator before any of the soldiers saw them. He pressed the number one, and they went down a floor.
Less lucky, the first floor was full of enemy soldiers, at least eight of them in the one small room. This was the only exit, there was no turning back. They had to get out.
The soldiers seemed to be busy, and hadn't spotted them yet, so he tried to casually walk towards the door, as dar away from the group as he could manage without looking suspicious.
There was a yell and he broke into a run, angling himself and the chair to block Andy from any blows. He half turned and fired at the guards as they fired at him. Three went down and he pushed the chair towards the automatic doors and grabbing a man who'd caught up to them. A quick twist and a push and Kani's attacker was on the ground, howling over a broken arm.

Anfy was heavily sedated now, almost so much that it could be deadly for her. She just sat there like a stuffes doll

Kani grabbed a handle on the wheelchair and shoved it the rest of the way out the door, shooting another man behind them in the chest. A pain went through his side, but he kept going.
He turned a corner and went around the buidling, twisting into an alley. Once he thought they were safe, he stopped and checked on Andy. Her pulse still seemed fine, but she wouldn't wake up. He'd thought the sedative was just mild, mixed wth the accelerant to help her sleep, but he couldn't wake her. He shifted the plastic clip forward so it was pinching the tube shut.
They were a bit concpicous, him covered in bruises, blood, dirty, and with long greasy hair, and her in hospital garb and a wheelchair. Not to mention his side was bleeding. He checked it; it seemed to be just a flesh wound, but he had to keep an eye on it.
Before he could try and stop the bleeding, he heard hurried footsteps down a different alley, and he started moving again.

Andy was about as helpful as a vegetable. She could hear the commotion but was unable to do anything about it. Unable to help. She was fighting against the immobile blackness that held her down in it's iron grip

He managed to get them to the edge of town. Picking her up again, he left the wheelchair behind. The ground was to uneven to take it along. Within minutes they were in a forest that grew just outside the town, and he set her down on a patch of grass to wait for her to wake up. He checked her stitches, and they were stil holding. "Andy?" he said as he pressed a wadded up fistful of his stolen jacket to his wound. "Can you hear me?"

"YES!" she wanted to scream. It made her Bhutto. She wanted to help him, speak to him.

((I'm kind of off and on at the moment, and I have to go in a minute.))

Leaning against a tree, Dukani stretched his legs out. He was exhausted, his body hadn't been used this much in years, and his bad leg hurt. He watched Andy quietly, waiting for her to wake up. He had no idea what to do next. There was no way to get a message to home without her help; he didn't know the codes anymore.

Hours later she began to wake. Andy groaned, curling his hands into fists. Her head lulled and she groaed again
