Regalia held back a smile. "So I gathered," she said playfully. She turned to look him in the eye. "Now listen closely. Tonight Mordon has his meeting. It is in the highest tower in the drawing room. You'll hear voices from inside. I need you to slip past the guards, walk up the staircase, and just before the door to that room, you will see a hatch. Open that hatch, and one will open above the drawing room, revealing a crawl space just on the roof of the secret room. I will hide there, and you will toss me this listening device through the hatch. Capeesh?" She knew it was a lot to take in,  what with his injured head, but this was the last night for her plan to work. She threw him the listening device, unsheathed her two swords, and embedded them in the wall, one after the other, beginning to climb.

Dilan took the divice and started to make his way back up to the throne room where the he had met the king earlier. He knew that even if he was caught, no one would mind since he is seen there all the time. As Dilan walked through the halls, he searched for the hatch. Once he found it, he leaned against the wall near it and waited.

Dilan rubbed his head from falling into the gravel and put his hood up. It would cover his wound from anything that could get into it. Dilan grabbed a canteen and took a sip of water from it. He put it back by his side and sat down. The room started to spin and Dilan's head felt light. He tried to shake his head of everything, but to no avail.

Regalia moved stealthily along the top of the castle walls. Her swords were back in their sheaths, and her feet made no sound as they padded against the stone. The moon made for wonderful cover with her cloak to blend her into the inky sky. Once she reached the top of the hatch, she knocked twice on it and waited.

Dilan heard a noise and opened the hatch. He handed Regalia the divice and took a couple steps back. He leaned his back against the wall and fell to the floor. Dilan was shaking quite a bit.

Regalia gripped the listening device tightly. She did feel sorry for Dilan, knowing that he was delirious from his head injury, but this mission had to be put before the safety of both of them, for if they failed, the lives of all that they cared about could be at stake. She crouched into the crawl space above the drawing room and pressed the device to her ear.
"We will attack Weravice next month at the full moon!" was all she heard before her heart beat with fear.
"We will wipe them off the map and replace them with an extension of our own kingdom!" it was Mordon speaking.
"Come to me men," he rallied. "For our kingdom; strength, cunning, and bravery!" There was cheering from the room. Regalia almost laughed at the irony of their last statement before slipping out the hatch and returning to the entrance and to Dilan.

Dilan headed back to the entrance after hearing Regalia moving above him. Whence he got outside, Regalia was there waiting for him. He waved and caught up. Dilan forced himself not to talk because of his injury. So, Dilan cocked his head, gave a thubs up, and shrugged a little.

Regalia tilted her head. "You're in pain," she adressed Dilan kindly. With a smile, she told him, "Go see the village witch. She'll give you something to heal your head. You can take the horse I borrowed from the stables this morning for this mission. I couldn't risk my own horse on a nightl like this. Phantomon! she called silently. A barn owl swooped out of the sky and perched on her shoulder. She stroked its feathers, and its black eyes glowed with pleasure.
"My pet," she said with a mischevious expression, handing the reigns to Dilan. And with a final glance and the necessary words spoken, she pulled her hood over her face and strode into the darkness, her owl facing behind her like eyes in the back of her head.

Dilan watched Regalia leave, reins of a horse in hand. "But I already have a horse," Dilan muttered to himself. He climbed atop Epona and brought the other horse with him. The sky started to thunder as droplets started to fall onto the earth, The pitter-patter sound the drops made is why Dilan loved the rain so much. However, when a cold drop fell on his head, he shivered and winced. Dilan put both of the horses in the barn near his house and went in. He threw his clothes off and went right to sleep as he pulled up his covers to his neck.

Back at her house, Regalia stroked the feathers of Phantomon. Dilan seemed friendly, but friendship was nothing to ponder over when the king was planning an invasion of Weravice. She knew she needed to reach the Nadue quickly, before the invasion began at next month's full moon. But a traveling companion... that was where Dilan surfaced in her mind. He belonged to the Nadue as well, and he would want to pass on the warning. She decided that she would find him again tomorrow; after all he wasn't that difficult to find, and went to bed.

When Dilan woke up, the room was spinning. He didn't care, he still got up and limped over to a pile of clothes in the corner of his room and pulled on a shirt and a pair of pants. He had decided not to do training this morning becuase of his injury. The wound on his head had dried, but his bed was covered in blood. Dilan sighed and went to the stables to check on the horses. Epona was sleeping on the ground while the horse Regalia lent him. "I wonder if she is going to pick her horse up..." Dilan thought to himself. He went back inside, still limping, the room still spinning. After closing the door and taking a few steps inside, Dilan's legs gave out and he trembled to the ground.

She woke up the next morning refreshed with a new wave of fear. Her plan was simple: convince Dilan to accompany her on a quest to Weravice, but on an unknown route through the Cragshak Mountains, as not to be caught by soldiers. She fastened her cloak around her shoulders, called to Phantomon, and stepped out the door into the crisp morning air.

Dilan attempted to get up, but his arms went weak and he fell back to the ground. He crawled along the floor, dragging his paralyzed legs across the floor. Dilan made it into his bedroom and climbed back onto his bed. "What the hell happened?" Holding his head up, Dilan looked at his legs, nothing seemed to be wrong. He lied back and tried to go back to sleep, with no avail. Eventually, Dilan rolled over and fell of the bed, he didn't even try getting back on it again, he just lied on the floor.
