Regalia pretended that she had not heard his entire conversation with King Mordon.  "Not particularly," she replied, but she wanted to know if ther was really another knight for the king who was a part of the Nadue. If so, she would not have to be so lonesome, so mysterious. "I would like to know, however, if you've heard of the Nadue?" She glanced sidelong at him.
((I am going to try and get some sleep tonight, because I've been climbing and I have a cold, and I'm exhausted, so I probably won't reply until tomorrow))

Regalia glanced sidelong at him. "The Nadue?" she inquired. She was curious as to whether this boy really was a part of Weravice's group of spies. "Otherwise, nothing at all." A cunning smile shadowed her espression, dancing across her lips like a crescent moon.
((I'm going to need to get a lot of sleep tonight, because I have been rock climbing and I have a cold, and I have tests tomorrow, and I'm just flat out exhausted, so this will probably be my last comment for tonight))

Dilan lowered his voice so the king could not hear. "Oh, so you're saying you're a spy..." He walked up to the girl. "I'm a spy too, don't tell anyone though..." Dilan went on his way and waved bye to the girl on his way out. The guards didn't pay any mind to him on his way out. As he exited the palace, he made his way back across the stream.

Regalia stood thoughtfully for a moment, pondering over the exchange. She knew she had work to do, but something held her back. She looked back to the heavy wooden doors to the throne room, vowing silently to find out what the king was up to. Because he was up to something. She could see the tense gestures of a scheming mastermind forming on Mordon as he spoke. He was plotting. But what? With a final expression of inquiry, she strode out the castle doors.

**One idea for a minute. I am going to change Regalia's age to seventeen. Don't know why, just a sudden thought that a knight who is sixteen makes less sense...

After Dilan returned to his lodge in the woods, he finished up his practice for the day and headed to the town, just south of the forest. He payed a visit to the stables and found a beautiful chocolate colored stallion with a white mane and fetlock. Next to the stable was the name of the horse, Epona. Dilan rented the horse and climbed upon her back right after he got out of the stables. Dilan then had Epona trot through the town until he got to the gates.

"Regalia Quince," the butcher greeted her as she entered his shop. "How was the king?" A twisted smile revealed a set of gold teeth that disgusted Regalia to a certain extent.
"Usual," she replied. "Just making the rounds today. Do you have a pound of beef?" The butcher handed her the beef, and she continued through town until her leather rucksack was full of the day's rations. Satisfied, she walked to her home on the edges of the Conifer Forests. She made note to investigate the boy she had spoken to earlier. If he truly was a spy for the Nadue, she would not be so alone in her double duties and secretive messages.

Dilan opened his mouth to speak to the guards, but nothing came out. He realized that he had forgotten something in his lodge and headed back through the town and into the woods. After he got what he had needed, he headed back across town on Epona.

Regalia sat down at her old, wooden table and pondered. It was her pondering table, for sure. So perfect for what she intended to do. She was to go back to the castle. And investigate. Manipulate. Discover.

Dilan had gotten back to the castle gates and asked the soldiers there to raise the gate. As they did, he rode through and traveled along a dirt road until he got to a sign and the road split two ways. Dilan took the left path which was the way to a small village. He rode for a few minutes until he smelled something burning, he saw smoke in the distance.

The stench of burning conifer wafted into her home. She had believed it to be illegal to burn trees from the pine forest, as the trees were rare in their kingdom, and home to many exotic and magical species that would, if they lost their trees, make the town their home.

Dilan galloped ahead to see that the fire was only a few burning trees that were quickly put out bye some townsfolk. Dilan jumped off Epona and walked over. One man looked over at him and glared.
"Do not fear, I'm not a soldier. I am just passing through to get some equipment." A few of the townspeople walked over admired the man. Dilan's clothing was much different from those around here. They wore patched cloths for shirts and pants, everyone there seemed very poor. Dilan went into a blacksmith's store to get away from the sight and talked to the man there. Dilan ordered a long sword that was to be done by the end of the day, Dilan waited in the store.

Regalia walked into the town, curious how the trees she saw had been set on fire. She almost laughed as she spotted that familiar boy step into a blacksmith's shop. "It's almost as if I am supposed to speak with him, and that is why I keep seeing him," she muttered, and though her words were spoken with in jest, she followed him in anyway.

The bells on the door rang and woke up Dilan. He saw that it was the girl he saw earlier in the castle. "Fancy seeing you again, miss." Dilan half smiled and tried to open his eyes. However, he was a bit to drowzy. Dilan put his arms behind his head and stretched his stomach.

She looked to where the blacksmith was pounding metal in the back of the shop and angled her head to  the flying sparks. "New toy?" she asked. "The king will be happy." She lowered her voice. "If you truly are a spy, then there is something important you must know, and something that we must both do about it. The king is planning. I do not know what, but when he is secretive it usually ends in destruction. I need a favor. Meet me at the castle gates tonight at midnight and I will tell you what to do." She raised her voice back to normal tone. "Good to see you again," and she strode out of the shop.

Dilan didn't catch much of what the girl said except "meet me at midnight at the castle gate" and "Good to see you again." Dilan went right back to sleep. The Blacksmith shook him awake when his sword was done.
"Thank you sir." Dilan said. He paid the man extra for himself. "Any idea what time it is?"
The blacksmith put a hand to his beard. "About midnight maybe." Dilan rushed out of the door and got on top of Epona, waking her up.
"Epona, time to go, we're late!" She immediately woke up and started to gallop back towards the castle.

Regalia paced along the castle wall. She knew from experience that on the half moon the king met with his closest advisors and discussed secretive topics and plots for the later days. Tonight, the half moon glittered overhead, and Regalia knew that it was time to find out what he was up to. But where was that boy? She needed someone else to carry out her plan. But what if he wasn't a spy? She dismissed the thought quickly. She was sure that she had seen him in meetings with the Nadue. Positive. She was laughing her suspicions when the sound of hooves pounding the earth became clear to her ears.

Dilan jumped off his horse even though it was in mid gallop. Epona stopped on her own, but Dilan wasn't too lucky. He slipped on the gravel and fell backwards, hitting his head on the ground. He rubbed his head furiously and looked up at the girl. Dilans hand had splotches of blood on it. Dilan sighed. "I'm here," he groaned.
