Bri glanced over at the girl to her left. She was gazing angerly at the handcuffs. They must have made her loose her pwoers too... She thought. Bri wished she could talk to her, ask her about her life. She would need a friend as she tried to survive this place. A friend, and some hope.
(courage, could u post on Secrets Unmasked?? Thanks!!))
Picking up one of the suits Eione grimaced, changing as fast as she could. The dull cloth hungly loosely on her small frame as she continued into the next room. Roughly landing on a bench with a murmur of apology to the person's shoulder she'd just fallen onto, she lanced around. They were prisoners. They were chained. All they could do now was wait and watch. They were alone in a crowd. And they had just lost everything.
((Yes, that looks great. Very original! Just remember about the power that he can't use it with the handcuffs on. Jump in!))
Zeva walked into the building on the left, picking up a jumpsuit. It was ugly, and bagg. She put it on anyways and sat down on a bench, looking around her. All of the kids looked so lost, so hopeless. Didn't they even want to try to get out? To try and fight? Or were they just giving up already?
Bri noticed another girl sliding into her row. With each new person who came in, she had to wonder what their background was. She stared at the girl, willing her to look Bri's direction. She wanted to make eye contact, to give her some sort of look that said she cared.
At that moment, a guard came onto the stage at the front of the auditorium. She, for the guard was a she, spoke into the microphone. "Everyone, I'm sure you all know why you're here. You are different, and citizens were worried that you might be... dangerous. You will be staying here until further notice." She cleared her throat. "Now, this is not a fun-and-games camp. It's is a work camp. Everyone will be divided into work forces based on their age and health status, which will be detirmined tomorrow at individual health exams. For now you will be seperated back into male and female and shown to your barracks. There will be thirty people per barrack. Please cooperate and do not cause trouble."
With that, the guards at the end of each row began shouting at them to file out. A group of girls((including all of those with skelies)) were hearded towards a barrack with a large number 13 above the door. It was a windowless brick structure, with a sheet metal roof. The guard did not step inside, but instead yelled from the doorway, "Stay in here and sort out sleeping arrangements. You will be collected later." And he left.
All was chaos. It was dark inside, and Bri's eyes were still adjusting to the dimness, as were the rest of the girls'. When everything had quieted sown, Bri turned to the two girls she had seen in her row. "Do you want to try and find 'beds' near each other?" Bri had said, 'beds' because the things the guards were calling beds really were not. They were bunks, with thin matresses and threadbare blankets. Instead of being a normal bunk bead with an upper bunk and a lower bunk, these were triple bunks, with not enough room to sit up fully. Bri was very suspicious of their ability to hold weight, but it was all there was.
Autumn walked into the place and chnaged quickly into a suit that fit her figure perfectly. Next Michele walked in and found one small jumpsuit that was still baggy and still to big she slipped into it and rolled up the pantlegs but left the sleeves alone as she sat on the bench next to a bunch of other people.
Zeva walked into the dark and cramoed building with the 13 above it. She climbed onto one of the highest bunks, barely able to fit into the cramped space to lay down. She didn't want to be noticed right now. She was mapping out the compound, trying to figure a way to sneak her and others out.
Myra loked around nervously at the crowded room. "Um, sure," she replied, looking at the other girl. She figured she would need a friend so she wouldn't get lost in her own thoughts and go mad.
Autumn and Michele went into the 13th barrack. They both went to a three row bed Autumn on the bottom Michele in the middle. "Ok now what are we gunna do we have to do manual labour for them." replied Autumn clearly upset. "For no reason I just got into highschool and I can't even finish it now." said Michele upset.
((I'm just going to assume that Eione was in Bri's row. if not, then just switch out words accordingly xD "was near your row" instead of "in your row", etc etc. Or just whack me over the head with a large stick. That works too.))
Work forces. The words rang in her head as she was herded away with some others, barely taking note of the barrack. Facing away from the woman speaking, keeping her head and shoulders low, she muttered an oath under her breath. As the woman left, Eione's head snapped up, watching the others. Listening to the girl with the red tips, Eione carefully made her way over to the girl, who had a good few inches on her own short frame. "Excuse me, but could I possibly, erm..." Shifting her weight awkwardly, Eione shook her head. How exactly was one supposed to form bonds to any degree with others when they'd all just found themselves in this situation? "I'm Eione," she said with a nod.
(Are you talking to Bri or Autumn)
Zeva thought for a moment, thinking on the situation. She didn't think on why they were here, but the how. She couldn't exactly remember her own trip here, as the guards had to knock her out to get her out of the house. Would one of the others know? Knowing how they got here could help her figure out how easy it would to get back to civilization. She sat to get down to the ground, but thunked her head on the ceiling. She groaned.
((Bri, sorry xD))
Myra blew a strand of hair out of her face. It had to be room 13, she thought. She looked around the room, and saw a girl hit her head on the ceiling. She walked over. "Are you all right?" she asked, concerned.
Zeva waved the question away. There were more important things to worry about right now. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you. Just to know, do you remember how you got here?"
"Um, well, I..." Myra stopped. She thought back, and realised she really didn't know. It was scary, almost. "I don't, actually. Not very well. I, er, remember some people coming to my house. Guards, I suppose. Then..blackness. Then, here." It was strange that a whole chunk of memory seemed to be missing.
Michele looked up and heard the question "They took us here by army helicopter on an uncharted Island." she replied she had woken up and looked out the window before they were able to knock her out again they had spoken about where they were going.
"Great." Zeva muttered. Now if she wanted to leave she had to steal a helicopter and somehow fly it. This was going to be way harder than she thought it was. "Thanks, both of you,"
"Your welcome." said Michele in return.
"Ok so if we wanna get out of here we need to train to get stronger with out powers and inorder for us to work doesn't that mean they have to take off the handcuffs." retorted Autumn
