(( Is anybody still doing this RP?))
(( Yeah spring break kept me busy))
Ady shakes her head, signaling that she didn't know. She stares out at the sae of the dead and tries to think of how to tell everyone what she is.
((Sorry guys!)) "Morning all." I said grabbing some hot coals "My bed is freezing." I threw them under the covers and plopped back down watching the massive destruction
Ady's eyes lock onto Thrax. He's beautiful, she thinks to herslef then blushes as she realizes what she's thinking.
He looked at all that there was around, including his "friends". He sighed knowing that he could never be truly accepted, and that in the end, everything would tun on its head. He got on his bike and rode into the neighboring town. He stocked up on as much food as possible before returning. "Anyone hungry?"
Genny grinned. "I'm not hungry but I think Obras might be. I know a crumy granola bar can't be enough for him."
Ady bites her lip softly, ignoring the others. She raises a hand to brush her naturally colourful hair from hey equally colourful eyes, then freezes when her stomache growls. She tries to hide the embarassment in her face as she looks away. Ady hasn't eaten in days and is realizing just how little time she has before her body turns on itself and starts killing her slowly from the inside out. She turns her eyes toward Thrax.
"I'm starving over here," she tries to smile comfortingly, knowing her appearance could throw anyone off with a wrong look or gesture.
"Hope nobody is a vegitarian. I couldn't find anything but beef and pork. " he smiled handing around various packages "It was all they had, and perhaps it is for the best. Protien keeps one's strength up more than anything."
Thrax didn't need to eat. He never will. He handed out everything, trying to assure them that he would be fine. Bored and lost in the thoughts of his past, he took out his lucky blade that he calls Victory, and began to sharpen it solemnly.
Ady chews on her food like a rabid animal, her stomache rumbling happily as the food gives her more energy. She hears the whetstoe on Thrax's blade and turns; a sword flashes in her mind-- a kitana-- long and beautiful, and Ady's fingers itch as she remembers the feeling of the blade in her hands.
Without telling the others she runs back down to her room to grab her sword. When she appears back on the roof she walks over toward Thrax.
"Wanna practice?" She smiles softly as she looks at him. If and when she spoke she never said more than she had to, words had never appealed to her like they seemed to with others.
He smiled at her with a slight turn of his head. He didn't need any practice in his judgement, and in her defense, neither did she. Nevertheless he got up and became her sparring partner. It was all rather fun in his mind, that is, until he caught the glances of the others around them. He became suspicious of the whispering and stopped
Ady looks at Thrax. Her eyes lower to the ground, "They know i don't talk much," she whispers. "I don't easily trust people, but you- something about you- make me want to talk. I've been alone most of my life because of the way i look. I think I'm ugly because of my hair and eyes." The tip of her sword digs into the cement as she look at the ground. Milky tears slide down her cheeks as she sobs softly. " 'Tell me, tell me What makes you think that you are invincible? I can see it in your eyes that you're so sure Please don't tell me that I'm the only one that's vulnerable Impossible'." She sings softly as she looks out over the sea of the dead.
"Where I came from, everyone was vulnerable and fragile. Those of us who were brave found it easy to hide." He put his arms around her "As for you, I can honestly say that you, as well as those around you have misjudged. You are beautiful and honorable and a worthy opponent in battle. There is something about you though that is subtle in nature that makes my life's work meaningless."
Ady stiffens in his embrace, then relaxes as she rests her head on his shoulder. "It's been a long time since I've been this close to someone." Ady raises her eyes to meet his. He really is beautiful. If only I could.....No, he'd push me away.
He becomes a bit sidetracked as he stared into her eyes. He felt different around her and knew she was different. He had a notion of being judged but he took the thought into deep consideration. He saw that she felt comfortable and open to him. The rest of the group was either confused or amused about what was taking place. Thraxinian couldn't stay with the group nor stand for her scorning from the others. He grabbed Ady by the hand and whispered that she'd follow.
The look in Thraxian's eyes told Ady that he felt she wasn't safe with the others. She follows obediantly and keeps a tight grip on his hand.
He placed her gently on his bike and rode off from the others. He saw her looking back nervously and tried to reassure her. They arrived at a volcano which had been dorment for years. He smiled at her and said that he couldn't stand them breathing down his neck. He laughed with a tenderness in his voice grasping her hands. "I do prefer to be alone, but I am learning to change. They don't enjoy my company and so I found refuge here. Something about this reminds me of my younger days, but what exactly seems to elude me." He sighed He pulled her into a tight embrace and stared into her eyes as she spoke
"You're making this really hard to resist, Thrax," Ady whispers as she leans closer to his face. She bites her lip nervously as she looks at him and pulls away, her entire face buring with desire and embarrassment.
Ady takes a few steps away then turns back around, one finger in the air, an idea on her lips, and a heart full of hope and wonder. She doesn't even get the words out of her mouth when she catches the look of pure desire in Thrax's eyes.
"Thrax? Are you okay?"
Thrax smiled warmly at her and nodded. She was beautiful, almost angelic to him. He didn't know any better. It was forbidden, but he didnt know, and neither did she. He was glad just to be near her, to see her glistening smile, no matter what risk he had to take.
