Genny hardly ever slept anymore so the gun shot coming from out side didn't awaken her, however it had disrupted her favorite song so she was kind of mad. She walked outside to see what on Earth was going on. when she found the source it was guite the sight to see. Sitting on the roof of a building were three figures. When she got closer she could tell that they were Ady, Obras, and Thrax. "What are you guys doing up at this time of night?" She yelled.
Ady, not one for words, nods to the gun and points to the horde gathered outside of thier base. She glances at Thrax, motions to her mouth and shakes her head. A clump of her thick colourful hair falls in her equally colorful eyes as she stares at the boy whose names she didn't know. Who are you, her eyes seem to ask.
((how do I jump in??))
((Just pick a way to enter like try starting a convo with Ady or any of the other characters))
Suddenly the unknown boy's name comes to Ady. "Orbas," she says softly. "Your name is Orbas isn't it?" She looks at him, long and hard, confusion obvious in her colourful eyes. She never spoke to people she was unsure about. Then why, she asked herself, am I talking to him now, when my brain is telling me not to?
Genny climbed up to the rest of the party. "Hey Ady. Yea he's Obras alright." Genny could feel herself perking up to her normal again. Great just what I need. To make these people ditch me too. Her perkyness always made people annoyed "Got an extra gun lying around somewhere?"
Ady offers a rare smile and hands her a pistol. "Light it up," she says softly.
Genny accepted the gun and started shooting. her aim could definatly use some work but considering that they were firing at a mass of bodies she didn't have to be too accurate. Quite the talkative bunch I see.
Ady watches Ginny calmly. She can feel the eyes of everyone else on her, which made her uneasy. Her silence was usually inbroken unless she had good reason to talk-- so her words to Ginny were startling to the rest.
Orbas looked at them, they shot the lifeless husks as if it was nothing but a routine ordeal. He shook his head to completely wake himself. "Anyone got some food?" He asked. He could feel his stomach getting emptier and emptier.
Genny looked up suprised that the awkward silence had been broken. she felt the pocket of her jeans wondering if she still had it. The stiff little rectangle shape told her that she still had the little granola bar. Nobody else spoke up so she slid it out of her pocket. Tossing it at Obras she smiled, "I know it's not much but it's all I keep on my person."
"Thank you kindly!" winked orbas, just before shoving the bar in his jaws. When he had finished it he looked up at Ginny. "Best tasting granola i've ever had!" He laughed.
((Sorry it took me so long to reply. I guess I'll just jump in.))
Abba hadn't been sleeping, though if she had been she was sure the gun shots that she kept hearing would have woken her up. She was tired, it wasn't that she was wide awake. Infact, she was exhausted, but she just couldn't seem to ease her restless mind and so she became a victim of a sleepless night. Her usually bright and thoughtful eyes had dark bags under them and she was in a terrible mood as it was and she swore if another gun shot out sounded, she would run outside and give them something to shoot at.
Genny supressed a laugh instead she only shook her head and went back to shooting. Some people are just so strange... She thought.
Ady's keen ears picked up a noise. What the--? She glanced around and her eyes fell on Orbas, he was staring at her again.
Ady stumbles backward as if someone had hit her. You need to run, run away, Adyssalia,be safe for your world is about to change again.
Ady blinks several times then takes off over the roof with the others in tow.
"Ady... whats wrong?" Ady had suddenly stumbled and that put Genny on high alert. If something that she couldn't see was attacking them then there is absolutly nothing that she could do about it.
