Rayne smiled at his confusion. "Yeah. I mean, waht do you do most of the time. Freetime? Hobbies?"
"Well, my typical day is get up, work, go home, do nothing, go to bed, rinse and repeat." Ben didn't exactly have many hobbies.

Rayne nodded atking in the information. "I'm an author. Well, and aspiring author. I'm working on my first novel now. I'm also an artist. I enjoy literature. And music." Living in the seventeenth and eighteenth century tended to sophisticate one's self. "But I enjoy gardening, and the odd one out, video games." She chuckled in the irony.
Ben shook his head. "I don't ever have time for video games anymore. I haven't bought one in forever. I never even unpacked my gaming console when I moved into my apartment."
Rayne frowned. "That's a shame." She paused in thought. "Would you like some soda or water or anything?" She was thirsty sheself. She had to put in consideration that he was human and he had fleshly needs and they mattered more than they did for her.
Ben shrugged. "Some water would be nice, thanks." He said. He really didn't want to be much of a bother to her.
Rayne goes to the kitchen and pulls out a glass from the cupboard and fills it up with tap water. She walks back into the living room and hands him the glass. She returns to the cupboard and pulls ut another glass, goes to the fridge, and pours red soda into the glass, goes back to the living room and sits down. "So what brings you to my humble dwellings?" She smiles.
Ben sipped on his water. "Just out walking. I came upon you and decided rather early on to stop and hello."
Rayne smiled. She knew he wasn't telling the whole truth. He had come to find her. Being a vampire who can read people better than any phsycologist alive. "Hmmm. So do you have any questions for me?" She gave him a welcoming, warm, and inviting smile.
"I'd ask you to spill whatever it is you're hiding, but that's a little impolite." Ben said evenly, sipping on his water again.
Rayne smiled widely. This was hat she hoped for. "I knew you'd ask that. It's not impolite at all, just a bit intruding."
Ben rolled his eyes. "Just come on and tell me already then? Please?" He asked, hoping to skip dificulty.
Rayne laughed heartily. "You couldn't handle it. You'd be scared of me." She sat up, her elbows on her knees. "Are you sure you want t know?"
"I think I can handle it." Ben said confidently. "So tell me." He had a hunch, and he wouldn't be surprised if he was right.
Rayne somehow blushed. "I.... uh..... I'm a vampire." She spoke quickly. If she had one, her heart would be pounding.
Ben quirked a brow. "You're kidding, right? Vampires aren't real. And you go out in the sunlight, I saw."
Rayne scoffed. "Vampires are very real. Some choose to be daywalkers, like me. We ingest exrta amounts of blood so the sun doesn't dry us up. Your neighbor next door could be a vampire, and you'd never know." She smiled. "Believe me yet?" She was ready to give him other proof.
