Rayne smiled. "Cuz I wanted a change of pace. Duh." She wondered if she could get along with a mortal.

Ben looked around and shrugged. "I stick around where I know things." He admitted. "It's why I came back here."

((I'm rping with my boyfriend. be back on tomorrow.))

Rayne smiled "So are you in collage or are you stil a Senior, or what?" She had guessed his age to be about the High School Senior age. She herself had been a senior many times, what with her immortality.
Sept. 20, 2012 at 9:47 am
"Just graduated, actually." Ben told her. "Haven't looked at collage yet, I don't exactly have the time or money, trying to support myself as it is."
Sept. 20, 2012 at 10:00 am
Rayne laughed. "I'm staying out of school for a couple of years, then collage. My family is sorta wealthy." She simled. That was an understatement.
Sept. 20, 2012 at 10:05 am
Ben shook his head. "My family is more of a...kick you out as soon as you graduate type." He told her. "I mean, if I were in real trouble, they'd help me out, but for the most part I have to support myself."
Sept. 20, 2012 at 10:40 am
Rayne laughed. Her laugh was crisp, clean, and clear. It was a pleasant sound to most people. "I live on my own, though."
Sept. 20, 2012 at 10:44 am
Ben shook his head again. "You're lucky though, to have the money available to you." He told her honestly.
Sept. 20, 2012 at 11:00 am
Rayne smiled. "Ya know, if you're ever in a pinch, you could go to me for money. Do you have a cell phone on you?" She figured this'd be easy. She was oh-so convincing, her tone was sweet and kind. She usually was ableto charm, convince, and seduce humans easily.
Sept. 20, 2012 at 11:03 am
Ben stopped and looked at her. "Listen, no offense, but you're a strange girl I met out at night in a dangerous place where people go missing. I'm not so sure I should be giving you access to contact me, or even letting you know where I live."
Sept. 20, 2012 at 11:23 am
Rayne stopped walking. "Da.mn. I just figured i could help you out. I wasn't so enthralled with meeting you out here either. Listen, I'm not a threat. Do I look dangerous?" (wearing a black and red striped t-shirt, black skinny jeans, a red hoodie, and gold Converse)
Sept. 20, 2012 at 11:25 am
Ben looked her up and down. "No..." He said slowly, "But...most girls would be a little more cautious, running into a guy like me under these circumstances. For all you know, I could be the cause of people going missing. It's just...something doesn't add up. I don't want to take risks."

Ryne smirked. "I'm not scared, either way. I'm not most girls. As a matter of fact, I'm higher up on the evolutionary scale than most girls. I'm braver. I see a spider, I kill it; I don't scream bloody murder. I see a man in need, I help; I don't skulk around thinking he's dangersous. I read people very easily. And you're frightened by me, aren't you?" She frownedin disappiontment.
Sept. 21, 2012 at 8:31 am
Ben sighed, shaking his head. "Something about you simply isn't adding up, I'm sorry. I just...can't trust you."
Sept. 21, 2012 at 8:47 am
Rayne was flustered by this human. "Was t the fact that I was jogging at night? Cuz I'm just a really nocturnal person. A night owl." She was losing her grip, and she felt her hunger well up.
Sept. 21, 2012 at 8:51 am
Ben shook his head again and looked down. "No...well, partly. I mean, it just really doesn't add up." He had a bad feeling in his gut.
Sept. 21, 2012 at 9:01 am
Rayne could feel her need for blood trying to break her. No, this facade needed to last. She hadn't lied about the directin of her home, hadn't lied about being Canadian, and she techincally hadn't lied about being a nocturnal person. She spoke calmly. "Such a scared little boy. I'm sorry, but I'm just a girl, so what good would it do to run from me and abondon me in the dangerous street?" She takes a step back and pouts a teeny bit. Her hunger was going to kick in if she couldn't keep this facade up.
