Az saluted her and walked out into the parking lot. She opened her car door and slid into the seat. She sighed leaning her head back and closing her pale yellow eyes.
Cloe glares in the direction Az had taken, pursing her lips and waving slightly to Jason before walking away. She gets into the sleek crimson Jaguar she drove, starting the engine.
"cya later" he quickly walked/limped to his car, trying to advoid the kids from ealier
(Lolz. They aren't gonna get aong at all are they?)
Az started her black Carmen Ghia and sighed, closing the door and pullin out of her parking space.
(Of course not! XD Cloe's just too... French.)
Cloe revs her car's engine, checking her phone for any new texts before backing out, reaching back and touching the bow she always had hidden in the back of the Jaguar. She'd bought the bow a few weeks ago thinking that it looked like the one from her dreams, the graceful cherrywood engraved with flowers and vines. She'd gotten the arrows and quiver as well, but those remained hidden in her closet at home.
jason got into his jet black mustang, a car that didn't fit his personality but her liked it, he carefully backed out and revved the engine, and drove home
Cloe frowns, suddenly deciding to skip practice for today. It wasn't like she couldn't just lie and say she was sick... She sighs, pulling into the driveway.
Charles rushed through the dark forest, running from the shadows chasing him. Why did he have to fall asleep in class?, he scolded himself. He had trouble leaving his dreams for some reason, while the others were usually better at leaving. It was why he tried to stay up most of the time. Sometimes he feared he wouldn't come back.
As he ran along, he heard voices growing closer. Not voices, per say, but more like growls that spoke to one another. He suddenly tripped on a loose root, falling down and cutting his cheek. The dark things grew closer, surrounding him. One was reaching out to him, about to claw his eyes...
"Charles! Wake up!"
Charles suddenly lept out of his seat, looking at the teacher who glared at him.
The teacher often found him asleep after school, but was still angry.
"What have you got to say for yourself?" He asked, "You're never paying attention in class!"
Before the teacher could stop him, however, he slipped past. He yelled out, "Thanks!" and was headed towards his truck.
As he got to his truck, he noticed his cheek was warm. Thinking he had drooled in his sleep, he wiped it away with his arm. When he saw his arm, it was red with blood. He cursed as he got inside his old Ford he had gotten from his father, looking for some medicine to put on the wound.
((Wow this went to fast! SHould I drop out?))
((No, that was my first post, and i got caught up. So far people are just leaving the school...))
((Okies, thank you!))
Tina saw Charles getting into his truck. "Hi!" she called and waved at him with a smile.
Cloe lays on her bed, glaring at the ceiling. She wished she could relax like she used to, take a short nap and forget about everything at the school and pretend to be normal again. Or, at least, as close as she got to normal. She frowns, shaking her head slightly and stretching, blinking back the tiredness that suddenly washed over her.
Charles looked over after placing a bandage over the cut. He saw that it was Tina, and he smiled knowing it wasn't one of those jerks from scool, but one of his friends instead.
"Hey Tina." He said, waving back. He then tried to start up his truck, several times, with no success. Cursing to himself, he felt fortunate that his house wasn't too far away.
He jumped out of his truck, locking it as he got out. He walked over to Tina and sighed, saying, "Well, seems that my rustbucket died again. I'll be seeing you later!" And he began to walk towards the sidewalk, waving goodbye as he started to leave.
Tina walked quickly and caught up with him. "Mind if I walk with you?" she asked him casually. "I need some help."
"Oh... Sure." he said, stepping onto the sidewalk in step with Tina now. As they got a good even pace, he turned to her and asked "So, what do you need help with?" As he walked, he began fiddling with his ring, something he did when he thought. He flicked it into the air as they continued on their way, catching it with a even rythm.
"Well.....I like Jason," Tina confessed. "I really like him, but I think he likes Cloe. Or maybe Azura. Or...I don't know." SHe isghed and looked at him. "WHat should I do? Maybe find another guy to go out with and see if he gets jealous, or something?"
Charles had not expected that. He then misjudged his next throw, and had to chase after his ring for a second. When he returned to her side, he thought about it for a moment before saying, "Well... Um... I don't think you should go out with someone else just to make him jealous. What would that other guy think once you got Jason's attention, and left him? If you really want to know what he thinks of you, Cloe, and Azura, i may be able to think up a way to find out without letting him know. It has something to do with our dreams, and a theory i have..." As he walked beside her, he smiled, to let her know that he'd be there to help her.
Tina smiled warmly back at him and took his hand, squeezing it lightly. "Thanks, Charlie. You are amazing," she sighed and layed her head on his hosulder.
Cloe rolls onto her stomach, kicking off the black wedges she had on and grabbing her laptop. She frowns, logging into her Facebook account and scrolling through the friend requests. After a moment she logs off, hearing her brother downstairs playing Two Worlds. "Ugh," she mutters, settling back on her bed and crossing her arms. She wanted to fall asleep and relax, but she wasn't sure that was a good idea without the others, especially when she considered her skills - or lack thereof - when it came to hand-to-hand fighting...
jason parked in the driveway, got out of his car and headed into his apartment, his parents died in a car crash a few years ago, same car crash he lost use of his leg in, so he lives alone, alone and bored, nothing but a Tv and a few computers.
