((Alright *Press pause* I'll respond to this later then.))
((I'm going to make a new character, because I freaking can.))
Name: Faith Hope (hehe)
Looks: Formerly ice white skin that is now red and peeling from the hours of sun, deep violet eyes, very long, straight black hair that covers her right eye and goes down to her waist, round babyface with a button nose and normal lips, scrawnier than the rest of them. She came wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans, but both have been ripped to make very short shorts and a sleeveless bellyshirt to cope with the heat.
Personality: Very pessimistic. Doesn't see the point in doing anything since they're all going to die sooner or later (ironic because of her name). Spends the day in the shelters, hiding from the sun and sleeping. People think she only sleeps, but at night she explores and sometimes brings things to the camp without them knowing about it.
Bio: She was born and raised in New York City. When she was 13, she adopted the gothic style and personality to try to get attention from her very wealthy family. When it didn't work, she actually began to feel the gothic emotions she was acting out beforehand, hence the reason she still keeps that attitude. The day before her 14th birthday, she was called into detention from a "substitute teacher". A detention that ended with her passing out and waking up in a ship. Three days later, she woke up surrounded by a bunch of children and teenagers.
Special abilities: Can basically see in the dark and is very stealthy.
Role in group: Nothing (or so everyone thinks)
Faith was very irritated. The screaming of Alex had woken her up earlier, and she had just fallen asleep when Josie decided to get herself injured. Why did these people even try? It just got them hurt even more.
She would have gone outside to investigate, but she had learned her lesson from going out in the sun too much. She only allowed herself ten minutes of sun a day, enough grabbing three meals and then taking them inside. So she just rolled over and tried to go back to sleep in her shelter.
Josie nodded,"Do you dink dere are bunnies on dis island?",she asked excitedly,"Maybe Mr. Cottontail has a brother or sister he doesn't know about." Josie had always wanted a big brother or a little sister, someone who she could protect or someone who could protect her, that's what a family was in her eyes. She considered everyone on the island to be like a brother or sister, though everyone was older than her.
Josie jumped out of Mercy's hands and over the fence to yank on Baliff's shirt. "Mister, do you have any bunnies?",she asked. Her hand was still attached to Mr. Cottontail as she looked up at Baliff beggingly. She's always wanted to see a real bunny. If she had a real home with a chimney, she'd write to Santa Clause during Christmas time like all the other boys and girls and ask him to bring her a bunny.
Josie took the bucket back over to Mercy with a big bright smile on her face,"Baliff said that he's checking for a bunny, but he wants me to give this to you." She held onto the bucket with two hands, her tiny hands, wrists and arms straining because Baliff had collected so much milk. "It smells good.",she stated as an opinion.
That stupid child had finally shut up, giving Faith some time to be by herself. She hated pretty much everyone on the island. No, scratch that. She DID hate everyone on the island. None of them were thinking realistically, like she was. They were all getting their hopes up that they would surivive. It would only hurt them more when their plans started crumbling down.
Faith waited patiently for dinner to be ready. She knew she was going to die here, but that didn't mean she wanted to die right away by starving herself. She had decided on the first day that she would keep herself alive as long as possible, and also treat this like a vacation.
Josie skipped into the shed and began looking around. She rolled her sleeves up and began looking at the animals. She climbed into the pen with the chipmunks and sat down, she held one in her lap and began to pet it while the others went for Mr. Cottontail. Josie gasped, her mouth hung wide open as she grasped onto her toy bunny,"No, stop it!"
((that's exactly it what I imagined haha))
Faith groaned when she heard the girl shouting all the way from her shelter. She grumbled and started to get out of the little hut, squiting and hissing like a vampire once she got into the sun. She finally got all the way out, the sunlight highlighting her true beauty, even with the sunburn. The light bounced off her visible eye, making the violet have multiple shades. She looked at Mercy, who was cooking.
"Do you think you could shut that kid up? She's giving me a headache and we don't have advil."
The thought of dragging a bloody animal carcass up the beach was just too tempting to turn down. She didn't let herself look excited though, that was too far. She just slumped her shoulders, acting annoyed.
"I'll just go get the meat myself." She muttered, sulking off to the butchery yard. She had a messed up fantasy about what type of animals she could touch. She allowed herself a small smile, seing as she was alone. I'm such a freak.she thought, her smile widening a bit. But I don't even care.
She got over to the butchery yard and saw Dean and Keifer, sitting on stools. Keifer was oddly quiet, which almost scared her. He almost seemed like his brother from that angle. She looked at Dean.
"Mercy needs meat, so I'm going to bring it to her. Hurry up though, I don't want to burn anymore and I can feel my skin simmering as we talk."
Josie looked at the bunny, she was truly astonished. She ran a hand through the bunny's hair and giggled happily. "Are there any more like this?",She asked before she picked Mr. Cottontail back up. She compared the two, it was obvious that her bunny was a lot more dirty than the other one. "Can we name it Patches?"
Micheal finally decided Alex would be happier to wake up under the tree, but he didn't want her to be alone. He had to get wood and start building more huts in case that cult wasn't done sending kids in. He left Alex with Julian, then went to the animal shelter to get Bailiff. Alex seemed to find him a really good friend, so he figured he would see what he was up to.
"I'm gonna go off later into the woods during twilight time and catch me two of these.",Josie said as she wrapped her arms around the bunny,"A mommy one and a daddy one that way we can have a lot of bunnies, because the stork brings the babies to a mommy and a daddy." She nodded, that was what happened in her nursery rhymes.
(Ah! How to jump back in...)
(you could meet up with Faith at the butchery place)
"I'm a big kid!",Josie pouted,"Sometimes Dean goes off on his own to hunt, why can't I go search for bunnies?" Josie could only understand what Baliff was saying because she used her imagination and had an open mind. "Besides, if we bring home the rabbits maybe we can let a few loose and Dean can hunt them. I hear rabbit tastes good." It was a suggestion, but she didn't want to watch.
Micheal smiled at the two younger kids as he entered the animal enclosure.
"Hey Josie, I see your arm is looking better. Anyways, could you two go play over by Alex. She should be waking up soon and I want someone to get me when she wakes up, since I have to work. So could you do that for me?"
Josie shook her head back and forth,"I was gonna go look for the bunnies, but I suppose that could wait till after dinner." Josie put the bunny back in Baliff's arms and grabbed Mr. Cottontail off the floor. She skipped off to go wait for Alex to awake and once she was done with that job she was going to go look for rabbits.
((I'll edit mine.))
Josie quickly put the bunny down in its pen and followed Baliff off with her stuffed animal in her hand. "You don't have to find me a bunny, I can do that all by myself.",She decided and crossed her arms making it final, she wasn't going to give in, she wanted to go and find the bunny so she could prove that although she was little she wasn't worthless.
