Vampire RP? *shrugs* I don't know, I just kind of have one of those cravings for a story that has to do with a vampire character. So this looks to be a fantasy romance. The female characer a vampire, and the male character something else. I kind of want to make it one of those things where the love is in some way forbidden or unheard of, so the male character could be human, werewolf, whatever else I'm not thinking of... Also, I'm not sure if I want to set this in more modern, victorian, or medieval a setting, and I'm not sure if I want to make vampires and other creatures known generally to humans or more hidden and less believed in. Please be as literate as can be and avoid one-liners like they're deadly. Also, you must be dedicated and I'm looking for someone who's on pretty regularly. Open to ideas and suggestions.
((I'd like to join this.))
((As I said, open to ideas and suggestions. And I don't want to hear that "I'm fine with anything" stuff, it's just annoying in a sittuation like this. Also, I hope you'll understand that, although I don't hate pro.fan.ity, I wish to keep that limitted. And be prepared to be a little more on the mature side for romance...))
((Sorry I've been off all day, I went up to London and had no wi-fi -__-
I had a few ideas but of course I forgot to bring something to write them down on, so here's the one I can remember:
A human guy/girl keeps getting into near death experience (eg. she almost drowns, falls onto some traintracks just as a train's coming, whatever). Each time, he/she is saved by a mysterious person who disappears straight after. This 'person' is not in fact human at all, but a vampire/some other creature who, in punishment for a crime, has to protect the human. We could also encorporate some prophecy or something as to why the human cannot be allowed to die. The human and creature are drawn to each other but are not allowed to become involved due to the terms of the creature's punishment.
What do you think? I'm up for any ideas you might have too :DAlso, lack of language and mature romance are fine by me.))
((That's a good idea, and I like it, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Two solidly set facts: One character will be a vampire, and that character will be a girl. I kind of like the saving idea, although when I said forbidden romance, I wasn't thinking of it as a set rule, I was thinking of it as the love would be forbidden by more of an unspoken rule (i.e. vampire/werewolf). Also, I think I could start coming up with ideas if we decided now what kind of time era we want to set this in.))
((I quite like the idea of a Victorian set one.))
((Okay, so check out this idea: There's this guy who has a rich and prosperous family, and he lives in this big mansion with them. So then, one day, a new servant girl comes to work there. She has a lot of odd things about her, like how she doesn't like people to touch her skin, or how she doesn't like to go out during the day, or open the drapes. Just a bunch of habits you'd find in a vampire, but no one would suspect her really at first. The reason why she's there is to protect the guy, because there was a prophecy involving the guy and some other vampires are out to kill him. She's not supposed to get involved with him, although it's not completely forbidden...))
((That sounds great =D And just to confirm, we're using proper vampires, not the sparkly Twilight ones, right?))
((No sparkles *sour face* although there might be slight alterations here and there to better fit the story. Like, perhaps she can be exposed to sunlight for short periods of time, but it really hurts.))
((So would you rather make character skellies or just go with it?))
((I prefer to make skellies, otherwise I keep changing things about my character. Which one do you want to be?))
((Really...reallly...really...REALLY...want to be the girl/vampire. If that's okay. *cough cough* General Skellie should do, right? Name, age, gender, appearance, personality, bio, and extra?))
((Yep, sounds good to me. Give me a few minutes and I'll have it done.))
Name: Victoria Svins.
Age: (Claims, was, and appears) 17,
Appearance: Victoria is of a fairly average height, standing at 5'7" with pale, vampire skin. Her hair usually rests in chocolate curls over her shoulders, although she will pull it up. Her eyes are also brown, although they seem to get redder the hungrier she gets. She's got a slender figure, and is fairly attractive, with soft, almost innocent, features. Her neck just barely shows where she was bitten, and she uses powder to cover that up so that no one can see. She wears a variety of dresses, and has a collection of cloaks, which she likes to wear from often, and not just so she can go out without quite so much discomfort.
Personality: Victoria seems rather calm in the face of all things. She hasn't got a temper, and doesn't react badly to insults or taunting. She usually remains quiet and lets things work themselves out. She tends to get herself worked up and worried about things though, and often finds herself unable to control her thoughts and emotions as well as she'd like. She's a fairly good actress, and a fairly good liar. She dislikes killing, although if it comes down to it, in hunger or protection, she's plenty capable. She doesn't expect to grow any attatchments to anyone, and anyone who grows attatched to her is swiftly cut away. She can be very kind, and a good listener, although sometimes she gets bored. She's considered well-behaved by other vampires, and by the ones who have assigned her, but she's also considered dangerous and deadly.
Bio: Victoria was once an ambitious young girl with a head full of dreams. She dreamed of accomplishing great things, finding love, and having a family of her own someday. Then, she got turned into a vampire and that all had to change. She actually hasn't been a vampire for too terribly long, although she's certainly adjusted to it rather quickly. She's gained herself a reputation in the short time as a very capable killer, of both humans and vampires alike, even if she has really care for the killing.
Name: Declan Kingston
Appearance: Declan is tall at 6'2" with muscular arms and legs from horse riding. His nose is slightly crooked from where it broke and he was too proud to have it set straight. His hair is dark brown and sticks up all over the place, like it's been hit by lightning. He wears a hat when around guests and other people he or his father want to impress to hide it. Most of the time, he wears riding breeches although he'll wear a suit when in company. His eyes are a steely grey and can be used to make people slightly intimidated by him. At first appearance he can seem harsh but when he's with people he loves or his animals he has a kind smile.
Personality: Declan's most important aim is duty. Almost everything he does is for that aim and it has made him quite stern. He has a shrewd business mind and cannot be cheated as he has an uncanny knack for picking up on lies. He tried to be fair and just over everything, but his fatal flaw is his pride. He doesn't take kindly to being criticised or threatened and his good favour, once lost, is lost forever. He only really relaxes when he's out hunting or with his sister, who he has a very good relationship with.
Bio: Declan is the only son and heir of the Earl of Devon and has spent his life preparing to take over his father's estate after his death. He lives with his parents and has a younger sister who is staying with another family to train her how to be a proper lady.
Extra: He likes hunting and breeds his own dogs and horses.
((Would you like to start? I'm goin to bed soon...))
((Sure, I've just woken up so I've got all day :P))
((It's almost four in the morning and I'm just now feeling tired. -_-))
((Wow, that's some serious stamina you have. I'm six hours ahead of TI time, which is why I'm almost never on in TI evening.))
((Right, so who's doing the starting post? I'm not much of a starter person...))
