Could I be a staff member, then? Do you need male or female? Also, can/do staff members have powers too? I'm thinking up a skellie...

Name: Henry Goforth

Codename: Go-fish

Ability: Henry has gills on the sides of his throat, which enable him to breathe underwater. Also, whenever he touches water with his feet or hands, his fingers and toes web together, like fins. This comes in handy for swimming...

Appearance: Henry has light brown hair, and a little bit bit facial hair on his chin, and upper lip. (But it's not heavy.) His eyes are sea-green, with odd "grizzly-tip" lashes, the roots being dark, and the ends being almost white. He's medium-height, and skinny. Not slim; skinny. He wears "classy coffee shop dude" glasses, because he's near sighted.

Personality: Henry is shy, but not overly so. He doesn't talk much, except in the class-room, where he's required to talk, because he's a teacher. He has a sense of humor, but doesn't express it loudly, rather if you glance at him after someone tells a joke, you'll find him grinning broadly, with a twinkle in his eye.

Bio: Henry Goforth was brought up in a middle class home, with fair parents. They were creeped out by his gills and fins, (which showed themselves the first time he stepped into a wading pool, when he was two,) but tried to reconcile themselves to his unique abilities.

When he was 13, he got his first bullyiing encounter, with a cruel middle-school boy, who pointed out his gills to the entire class. Before then, no one had really noticed. After that, it just got worst. His parents were contacted by Marvel School, about their son. He was accepted into the school, and trained accordingly. Discovering his gift for advanced mutant-science, the staff at Marvel School offered him a place on their staff when he graduated. He accepted, and now works as an assistant teacher at Marvel School.

((Is that okay, PrincessCharming?I can change stuff if you want.))

(I don't know who can be here yet, but I guess we can start. If you've posted a skeleton, then you can either be a new student/staff member or an established one. Once we start I may still accept characters as new additions to the school.)

It's a typical day at Marvel School. This is a boarding school, so all of the students live here, as do many if not all of the staff. So, here we begin, early Monday morning with kids getting ready for their first classes.

((YAY! We're starting!! :D))

Tristan sat on his bed, gingerly rubbing his smarting knee, which he had banged into the nightstand moments before, startled by a knowck on his door. There wasn't anyone there, actually, which was even more annoying. He pulled his headphones over his ears, Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture playing loudly.

Tristan was already dressed and ready for the day. He always ate breakfast as early as possible, as to avoid having too many people around him. After that, he would linger somewhere like the library, as close to the late bell as possible. Hallways were a nightmare; always. Too many possibilities.

Sticking his head out the door, Tristan looked around catiously, seeing that the hallways were almost empty, he set out towards the cafeteria room, his shoulders and head hunched, hands in his pockets, Tchaikovsky blaring in his ears and staring determinedly at the ground.

There more people out than he would've liked, which meant that it appeared to him that the halls were crowded; the different versions of people heading different ways, doing different things. Tristan was almost to the cafeteria doors. A girl near him dropped some books she was holding when Tristan wildly side-stepped to avoice bumping into her.

Automatically, he dropped down to his knees to help with the books, murmuring apologies. Moritifed, Tristant realized that the girl hadn't actually dropped her books, but was really standing a few feet away from him looking at him strangely. No, she couldn't see that if she had been two feet closer, Tristant would of bumped into her, and she would have dropped her books. Unfortunately, that 'what if' didn't really happen, and Tristan ended up looking like an idiot, talking to thin air. Again.

The possibility that he had reacted to continued gathering her books, and moved back to her locker. Looking carefully, Tristan could see that she was slightly transparent. He scowled and turned up the volume on his small ancient iPod. Today was going to be a long long day.

((Oh, to better clarify Tristan's ability, try thinking him as a 'what if' detector, except that he can see all those 'what if' moments. Does that make any sense?))

Sterling had already been up; he would always wake up early for some reason that even he doesn't even understand why but anyway. He stood by the door of his feeling akward about going out there with the students even though he knew they were like him; he just probably felt nervous.

"Here we go." Sterling mutters under his breath as he took hold of the door knod and opens it. He went into the hallway; trying to ignore the feelings of nervousness as he walks pass students; quickly.

Sterling could do this; he knows he could if he trys hard enough. There's nothing to be afraid about; it's just school! He trys to tell himself.

Rachel left the library, one of her favorite spots, to see a nervous-looking kid rushing through the traffic of other students.

"Hey," she greeted as she caught up with him. She was one of those people who was friendliest to the shy or unsocial kids that seemed like they could use a friend.

Sterling glanced at the girl who was walking up to him; he trys to pull himself together. "Hi." He greets back with a weak smile as he stops walking to let her catch up to him.

Henry Goforth started awake. Looking at the clock by his bed, the horrible realization that he was going to be late for his class dawned on him. Henry leaped out of bed, pulling on his clothes as fast as he could.

Grabbing his papers from the his kitchen table, he also snitched an apple from the fridge. Running out the door, he fled across the school campus, his glasses sliding down his nose.

Why the he.ck do I have to be late, when I'm the teacher? That's the student's job, he thought, chagrined.

Right before he reached the door of the classroom, he stopped and straightened himself. He tried to pinch a wrinkle out of the hem of his shirt. It didn't work. Henry shook his head, sighing. He stacked his papers and book in his arms neatly, then pushed open the door.

Entering the classroom, he was relieved to find only a couple of students there. Henry smiled at them, nodding 'good morning'.

He set the papers down on his desk, sat down in his chair, and glanced at the clock. Two minutes to class time.

He grinned. He'd made it.

Angel nodded back at her teacher. She'd been in the class early and had been reading one of Jane Austen's novels.

Rachel smiled. "I'm Rachel," she introduced, offering her right hand.

"It's nice to meet, Rachel." Sterling said with a small smile; feeling like he was forgetting something. He glanced down at her hand that was she holding out to him; just realizing he should shake her hand and tell her his name. "I'm Sterling." He took her hand; lightly shaking it. "I seem to be a little lost; sorry." Sterling admits with a nervous chuckle but became serious. "You wouldn't happen to know where Mr.Goforth's class would be; right?"

Fleck groggily climbed out of bed. She rubbed the sleep from her blood red eyes, muttering about how useless an early class was. Still muttering and mumbling to herself, Fleck pulled on a strapless blood red dress. It fell down to her ankles, wrapping her in the soft crimson fabric. With a shrug, Fleck headed out of her dorm room. She didn't feel like wearing shoes today.

"You've been here two years now," Fleck mumbled to herself. "Two years and you still can't find Mr. Goforth's room." Shaking her head, Fleck closed her eyes and concentrated. In her mind, she envisioned to door to Mr. Goforth's classroom. Then, she was wrapped from head to toe in thick black smoke. Opening her eyes, Fleck found herself standing next to some boy in the hallway ((Tristan)). He had headphones in and was talking to himself. *That's a little odd* Fleck thought, raising an eyebrow at the boy.

Tristan was lingering near Mr. Goforth's room. It was one of his favorite classes, but the spot he was in was nearly uninhabited by any students at the moment, so it was a breath of relief before the muddle of class. Classes were extremely difficult for Tristan. Depending on what questions were asked and by what people, there usually ended up being fifteen different realities going on at once.

It wasn't all together uncommon for him to accidentally do homework that wasn't assigned, because there were always different variables that sometimes affected what the teacher assigned.

Tristan jumped unvoluntary as several people materialized around him. Actually, it was really just one. Some person with teleportation abilities. A very creepy looking person with teleportation abilities. He was able to stare at a non-existing of the girl to figure out what she looked like without really looking at her. Though, he couldn't really tell which one was real. Several, he was able to discount because of their blurriness.

Rather pleased with himself, he finally decided that the possibility with their eyebrow raised at him was the actual person. She was looking at him oddly, as if he appeared as strange as she. At least he was wearing sensible clothing. Tristan didn't like unnecessarily strange things. Everything could be explained with science, so it was annoying to have people purposely act like acting accessevily weird willfully.

Determining that it was now late enough to safely make his way to Mr. Goforth's, Tristan ignored the strange girl-- and the apparations around her-- and set off towards the classroom. He stumbled slightly when a possibility of the same girl passed through him unexpectedly, as he wasn't looking where he was going. It was always the odd shock to see someone pass through people, and him. So he usually tried avoiding passing through them. The possibility scowled at him and moved on. Tristan did an odd side-step to avoid another passing.
