Teen Ink on Twitter
((Okay, sounds good. Yeah, I hope your friend's doing okay too! =| ))
((Any spots left for a guy or a girl, child of Pluto or Trivia? I'm sorry I didn't get back on yesterday, the doctors had some not-good findings that had to be dealt with. I'm USUALLY on weekdays from 9 TI time to 3 or 4 TI time... :D))
((BVB, if you create a Roman guy, and Rosie creates a Greek guy, we'll have all the spots filled! And thanks for your concern for Suise, I still haven't gotten hold of her. But then again I'm probably fretting for nothing since she's probably chilling out at Disney :P))
((He will be :D My charrie will be a wicked-awesome son of Pluto, sort of a cross between Nico and Hazel, power-wise, but both sides of the power a bit weaker. And I'm not sick, persay... I just still have some crap going on with my heart that normal hearts don't do. So, yeah. XD And I bet Suise is at Disney, I knoow thats where I would be :D My charrie will be up soon, gotta write him :D))
((YESH! He will be Jack's friend :D And I sowwy, I is not meaning to have a funky heart, it just happens. *Shame ;)* So Dante will be a son of Pluto, sort of an awesmoe power-mix of death and gold. Awesome. And he will be Jack's friend. I'll have him up in a jiffy. :D))
((So, when does Rosie usually get on? I'm really interested in seeing her character... after all, I've got to figure out who Kelsey has a crush on. =P (By the way, if this goes how I want it to, it's NOT going to be heavy romance, at least for my character. Just a mild crush. ) =D Is Via on right now? ))
((Okay, haha. Ignore the last part of my most recent post. You ARE on. I was just wondering how soon your character is going to show his Roman face... =D))
((Oh wow, I just realized how awesome/funny this is going to be... when Dante and Derek meet. Both sons of Hades/Pluto. Greek, Roman. Who's going to kill who first? Okay, it might not be that bad... but I'm still interested to see what happens, there. ))
((A show-down of the undead boys!!! 8D))
Name: Dante Askins
Rank: Third Cohort, Centurion
Appearance: Tall (6'2) and sort of gangly, with pitch black hair, pale skin with olive undertones, and green eyes that hold a gaze much longer than most people. His hair is a bit on the long side, maybe two inches above his shoulders, and he wears it with side-bangs that cover his left eye. He has long pianist fingers.
Personality: Calm and charismatic, Dante knows how to be a people-pleaser. Having grown up in the midst of the Camp, he knows how to work the various systems and officials. Most people think Dante is cool and nice, because that’s the persona he gives off. What he is REALLY like, however, you will have to figure out. ;)
Bio: Dante's mother lives in Camp Jupiter, and is a descendant of Jupiter, fifth generation. So technically he has more than half god-blood, but the blood of Jupiter is so far removed that it doesn't really affect him. He was raised in Camp Jupiter. His entire life has BEEN Camp Jupiter. His best friend is Jack, which very few people understand, but he doesn't live to please you, so shut your face. -_-
Lineage: Distant descendant of Jupiter, son of Pluto.
Abilities: Dante has a very strange affect on plants- they seem to die when he walks near them. O.o Also, he can trick people into thinking small amounts of money (Say, a dollar bill) are actually MUCH larger sums.Weapon: An Imperial Gold Galdius and a Falchion.
((Wow, that's one wonderfully original child of Pluto! I LOVE the abilities you came up with, Via! Nice skellie. The plant thing should be interesting... Dante walks past a flower shop. All of the plants suddenly die. Shop lady: "WHAT HAPPENED?!!" Anyhow, yeah. Showdown of undead boys. XD))
((Gah I love him!!! ^-^ Haha, my charrie Adrienne has a similar effect on plants too when she's not happy. They go through their life cycles XD Anyways, all that means is that we need Rosie's skellie, then we're set. I can PP Suise's charrie for the first bit if necesseray, but I plan on getting the first post written soonish. After I clean the kitchen. Anyways, I'm thinking of starting this just as the questers are getting together; the morning they're leaving. I'll play Reyna and Chiron at first. Oh, and I'm just going to avoid Jason since he annoys the living daylights out of me :))
((Poor flower lady. XD Oooh, and a cabbie driver. He hands him a one, makes him think its a 100. XD))
((Okey-doke; before I start writing up the post, does anyone know what times Skyye is on? I noticed she was on pretty late yesterday. And since BVB is going to be gone for the rest of the day :( I think we'll just start before the quest is issued; so people can go around and sociolize for a wee bit. How does that sound?))
(Kaden's rank is also Third Cohort, Centurian, that okay? I completely forgot to put her rank.)
(I'm on at random times throughout the whole day, Roseatta. Though I will not be for about an hour to two hours around 4-5 TI time.)
((Alrighty then ^^ I'm going to put up my post for Adrienne, and everyone else should be in their respective camps, I believe. Unless they're doing something they shouldn't be XD))
Adrienne was not a happy person. She usually never was; but now especially. Human contact was definitely not her specialty; no. The scowl on her face grew more pronounced, such an unusual expression for such a young looking girl.
There was a reason, of course, why she would rather start at Camp Jupiter first. They wouldn't kill her on sight, at least they didn't when she was last here about a month ago. Adrienne would enter through New Rome; so that way she wouldn't have to pass that dreaded river. Used to hiding, Adrienne ducked out of the city after a few terse words with Terminus.
Officially, Adrienne wasn't really allowed in Camp Jupiter. But she came and went; much like Nico Di Angelo. Except this time she was actually here for something. She knew the quest was going to be given soon, that's what drew her here. And Adrienne would need to be there to point the questers in the right direction. Towards the direction of the campers from Half-Blood.
It was the only way to find Prometheus, she was sure of it.
((Roseatta, so should the rest of us start posting now? With our characters just hanging out at Camp Half-Blood/Camp Jupiter?))
((Since... (what's your nickname, Proud-to-be-an-American?) posted, I'm assuming the answer to my query is "yes".))
Kelsey was shooting things. Hoops, to be exact. Standing about ten feet away from the basketball-goal, she tried over and over, to make just one ball go through. Basketball wasn't her thing.
She grit her teeth, and tried again. It bounced off of the ring, and almost hit a fellow camper.
"Watch it!" he scowled.
Kelsey sighed. "Sorry."
How come she was the only child of Apollo in the entire camp, that was a failure at basketball?
She threw the ball against the dark pavement of the basketball court, as hard as she could, in frustration. It bounced and went higher then she was expecting, landing on top of the Apollo cabin roof."Oops." She whirled away, and walked off, whistling casually.
((Yup, me again. Anyhow, just wanted to let you know, I just used up my computer time for today... so I won't be on anymore, most likely. I might squeeze in some more later, if my mom lets me, but if I don't post anymore today, don't worry, I'll post tomorrow.))
