So it's a masquerade ball (obviously) and just make up the story as you go. Your character needs:
Looks: Tallish, thin, long dark hair, bright green eyes, pretty
Costume: Long black and gold gown, gold gloves, along with a gold mask with black lining.Personality: Quiet, Clever, nice
Stands in the corner spacing out listening to the music.
Sido jumped a bit. "yes, there playing some pieces well..."
Name: Elizabeth Grace
Looks: Blonde hair in a very up-do, (But not like a honey-comb thing) pale skin, (Doesn't need any powder) hazel eyes, freckles and short. Very short.
Costume: Golden and off-white dress on. Very fancy, big poofy skirt. Her father (Who's running the event) made her wear it. Elegant golden mask.
Personality:Looks unhappy all the time. Carefree, eccentric, sometimes manipulative. Unselfish. Kind.
Bio: Elizabeth is very wealthy, unhappy child. She does not want to live the spoiled life she lives now. She grew up wth servants and maids and people to do everything for her. But she hated it. She still hates it. After the ball, she plans to run away.
Elizabeth flitted around the ballroom, her huge hooping skirt trailing behind her. Half her hair laid up in a bun tightly woven to her head, the other half trailing down her back. She wore a smile when they looked but frowned when there was no one to impress.
Making her way out of the galla, as soon as the coast was clear, she threw her shoes off and ran to the beach, where she coud be free.
Watched a girl leave the event.
Name-Nico De La Cruz
Age-18, but can easily pass for older
Looks-Unlike the others, his skin tone is a deep tan, given his Hispanic name. He has curly black hair that is trimmed in a way to make all his features stand out; his definate jawline, perfectly curved cheeks, his dimple smile. Even his melting chocolate brown eyes are framed by thick lashes. A tall, but brawny build. Falls around 5'8''
Costume- In a simple black tailcoat suit, with a white rose in his left breast pocket. No mask, which makes people wonder.
Personality-Somewhat arrogant, but friendly nevertheless. Raised from a very poor family, and ran away because he got beaten. He tends to be attracted to things that obviously spell out danger. Much like Maria, he is very cunning, and will go to certain lengths to get what he wants. He harbors a cetain gentlenee, side by side with a peculiar curiosity. His morals are somewhat blurred.
Nico arched his brow, notcing a very beautiful girl, indeed. Thick jet black curls hung down to her waist, though her skin was a strong moon pale. Beautiful in an odd way, unlike himself. Ignoring the many tossed glances his way, Nico gracefully made his way towards the girl, looking down at her. Could she possibly be a child? no, she held the air of someone his age. she certainly had the looks for it."Excuse me, miss." He said in his lightly accented voice, smooth as silk."But I must say, you're beauty has captured my eyes." He flashed his smile, his deep brown eyes gleaming.
Spaces out again completly.
Watched the woman she was just talking to be swept into the dancing. Sido then made her way towards the door.
Nico gave a thin, but amused smile.
"As you wish." He said, his movements more calm than anything, like a tiger tenderly stalking his prey; confident, yet sharp.
He didn't mind her thin fingers firmly grasping his long jointed ones; after all, he was a piano player. you needed long fingers for that. an invitation to touch her waist was much more appreciated.
The musci playing had a gentle beat along with a steady tempo. both of them glided across the dance floor easily, their movements mimickery of the animals they moved like; who would of though a tiger and snake would dance? Sillier things have happened, Nico supposed."Tell me your name." nico requested, his voice soft into the music.
Maria smiled impishly, her violet eyes glinting demonically behind her satin mask. The lace of her gown swirled as she spun a turn, her hair whipping around her waist as if she were caught in her own private storm. In truth, she was much more dangerous than the strikes of lightning it would bring.
"They call me Maria," she whispered to him, the name rolling off her tongue like it were made of honey, sweet and slow. "What do they call you?"
Maria grinned to herself, far under the man's sight considering her miniature stature, knowing how easily she could ensare this man. He was a game for her, a challenge to be taken, a contest to be won. And she would win, as she always did.
"Maria." Nico repeated, rolling the "R" slightly, the name rolling off his perfect lips into the air around them. He gazed down at her alluring, but dangerous, voilet eyes. Nico longed to take off the mask, to see what it was hiding."The call me Nico." He replied, her black curls swaying as he lead her off into a corner, the music now a low dripping background. Nico leaned against the wall, his brown eyes regarding Maria with a bright interest, but hiding the knowing of seeing someone most dangerous. "Why don't you let me see what's behind that mask, hmm?" He asked, his voice almost a coo to a child."I hide nothing from you." He pointed out, guestuing to his face, unabashed.
Comes out onto the balcony and leans on the railing.
Looks: dark brown hair, good built, taller then sido:), muscular in a comfortable way, very handsome;)
Costume: a nice black suit, with a gold rose in his right breast pocket, a clever black mask with gold lining
Personality: very quiet and mysterious, cunning, caring, sweet, Sido's best friend.:)
"What are you doing out here instead of in there?" Jake's soft voice broke into the crips night air, the moon was beautiful, and so was Sido he thought lightly blushing, he stepped onto the balcony, and leaned on the railing next to Sido
She shook her head. "I'm not much of a dancer"
"I'm sorry I was late..." he lighly said catching her eye. He remember Sido telling him she didn't want to go, and he convienced her it would be fun. And she agreed to go...if he wasn't late.
"Sido..." He said carefully, his tone still carefree. "I mean, ma am'" he smiled lighlty. "Would you care for a dance? With little old me?" he said with a mocking bow, he heard her laugh lightly
Maria grinned, showing a bit of pearl-white teeth behind the contrastingly blood-red lips.
"Nico," she mused, playing with the name on her tongue. "You hide nothing from me, but I hide everything from you..." Her last words were naught but a very faint whisper, meant only for her ears.
She would not remove the mask in the room full of those who were masked, as it would draw unecessary attention to her, which was what she usually avoided.
"You want to see who I am? Then we will leave the room. There's a beach, outside, where I will be unspotted." Maria took his hand and gave a gentle tug, waiting for him to follow after her as she swished away into the crowd.
"Sure why not." She let Jake lead her back to the event.
