she sits all alone in her room, trying to think
she doesnt know much, just that its been a while
she falls to the floor as sobs shake her up now
she cant explain the pain she feels, but she wants to end it now
how can she speak when the fear is choaking her
how can she walk when shes tripping on the pain
how can she fight it when the depression overwelms her
how can she live when she feels the poison slowly killing her inside?
she crawls to the door, trying to escape
she doesnt feel much, just the panic in her gut
she bangs on the door, nobody hears her though
she cant overcome the helplessness she feels, but she wants to leave it somehow

she opens her eyes sees the world in slow motion
one choice, one life, one lost, one saved
she looks at her choices, her heart numb and cold
she chooses the one that some may call destruction
but she calls it her relief, her savior, her only friend.
