i remember sweet words and promises
i remember a blonde haired girl with glasses
i remember a boy with brown hair and eyes
i remember all of our good and bad times
i remember the words he whispered
i remeber the day he said goodbye
i remember my heart braking
the days end in pointless waiting.

take a good long deep breath
you went away and left me alone
take a nice walk through memories
tell me that you really miss me
i know you might not care now
but the day you killed my heart
was the day our love fell apart
the day you murdered my heart
was the day our love fell apart.

i remember long hugs and secrets
i remember a little dog with white fur
i remember a tall man, your father
i remember all of the things we shared
i remember the things you said
i remember when i said "fine!"
i remember his eyes blazing
the pain mixed with rage & hating.

take a good long look all around
you walked away and chose to go
try and find another love like we found
i'd tell you that i really miss you
i know you might not feel the same
but the day we saw the change
was the day our love fell apart
the day you walked away
was the day our love fell apart.

i remember that december
everthing was all right
i remember that green jacket
wrapped around me
i remember your sweet lips
pressed against mine
i remember it all so clearly
how could our love die...

and i know you must care somehow
the day you messed it up
was the day our love fell apart...
and the day you lost my heart
was the day our love fell apart.
