when you feel like theres nothing left
when you feel like giving up
when you feel like no one cares
please remember, i'll be there
when you need a hug
when life brings you down again
when your crying all alone
when you fall and hit the ground
please remember, i'll be there
thats what she said...
thats what she told me...
but instead she went away
didnt even say goodbye
took the pills and that was that
was gone in minutes
took her wings, and flew away to heaven
if i would have known...heres what i would have said:

mom,
when you feel like nothings left
when you feel like giving up
when you feel like no one cares
please remember, i'll be there
when you need a hug
when life brings you down again
when your crying all alone
when you fall down and cant get up
please remember, i'll be there
thats what i should have said...
should have seen the signs...
should have never never let you leave...
should have said you can lean on me...
but you went away...
didnt even say goodbye
took the pills and that was that
was gone in minutes
took her wings
and flew away to heaven
she gave up and left us
and flew away to heaven.

when you feel like nothings left
when your hurt, sad, or depressed
please remember, i'll be there.

this is a beautiful poem.  While I was reading I almost started turning it into a song in my head that's how emotional it got me..  I was reading along for the first portion thinking "ok this is sad and probably about a friend like most poems like these" and then i kept reading and once you said "mom" i broke down.  This poem is so honest I will definitely be reading your other pieces
