i walk into a crowded room
all i want is to see you
walking toward me
with a smile on your face
but i know i wont
because you are not there
you went away and left me
you said you didnt care anymore
left me crying alone on the sidewalk
as the streetlights just began to turn off
it was raining, i rememeber
i wish you wouldve stayed
now i hate the month november
i hate valentines day
i hate life without you, baby
just wish you wouldve stayed
i know it was something i did
but i just cant figure it out
you looked so angry
your face had turned so cold
looked like something dark got into your soul
i shiver now as i look back
how you pushed me away
when i begged you not to go
my heart is broken now
i cannot feel anymore
i will never love again
that much i know for sure
now as i close my eyes to go to sleep
i lay your picture down on my heart
and i hold all our good memories close
i will always love you, always
even if you never ever love me
i guess thats the way it will have to be.

You should never be ashamed of something you write because it is something that you feel. Besides, I think this is really good. Keep on writing :)

Dont ever be ashamed of what you write. its what you are feeling - raw and real on a piece of paper. You should be proud that you are brave enough to share this with the world. i love this piece! Sounds a bit like song lyrics at times - but you can always feel the true emotions. Thats what makes a strong piece...Keep writing and never be ashamed! (:
