I find typically find classics hard to enjoy, but when I read In Cold Blood for AP English I really liked it. What are your favorite classics?

I love Anna Keranina, it's one of my favourite books, and I just started Great Expectations by Dickens but I'm not far enough through it to have an opinion yet :) My favourite classic is probably Jane Eyre.

How about Three Men in a Boat? Written in 18 something. I thought it would be stiff, in old-fashioned English, but it was really funny and nice.By Jerome K. Jerome.

I've read Jane Eyre 3 times, Pride and Prejudice, Gone With the Wind, Red Badge of Courge, parts of Grapes of Wrath, The Pearl, Ethan Frome, Little Women, Little Men, Romeo and Juliete, Macbeth, As You Like It, Midsummers Nights Dream, Catch 22, To Kill A Mocking Bird, and a bunch of others. I've enjoyed all that I've read of those except P&P
