So in this, you can enter anything, as long as their's a strong theme, and it's not just to entertain. It can be contreversial, as long as it's written well.
You can turn in two at a time, they can be already published, and the deadline is when I have 20 entries. The prizes will be based on how good your guys's stuff is.

Are we allowed to enter controversial fan fiction that shows the good side of a certain character who happens to be a villain (no, not A Cold-Hearted Tale, a different one)

Yes, anything, and I promise I will not judge based on the opinion stated, I just want good writing (this includes changing stories into things that could be contreversial)

I’m pulled in every possible direction.
Only I can’t tell which way to go.
I feel as though limb by limb I’m being pulled apart.
It seems like everyone expects,
and needs something from me that I just can’t give.
I need to break away.
I can’t stand the pressure anymore.

I fight against the forces that are tearing me apart.
While my captures are strong my desire to be free is even stronger.
I fight and break free,
but my victory is short lived.
The binding forces come after me as I run,
but I have nowhere to go.
I feel hunted as the force follows me.
I feel it calling me with every step.

However it’s not much longer till it catches up to me.
I once again experience the feeling of being ripped apart,
I try to break free again only this time it’s ready.
I know that I can fight and run as much as I want,
but that doesn’t change the fact that ultimately one thing will always bring me back,
 life.
(Please keep in mind i'm not done with this just yet)

How do you live in such a mad world?
The perfume you breathe is made of crushed pearls
Where the red high-heeled shoes stalk the concrete
Card towers tilt to the drum of dead feet

The pigeons all watch from their gargoyle homes
As if they, the scavengers, see while they comb
All our garbage and stare at our bare listlessness
The streets full of strangers; our mindless existence

We all are the cat who walks by himself
With pride and long noses, our mirrors and shelves
All places alike and all places the same
Stories of how we once knew our own names

Which hat will you wear? Which mask matches today?
Which sequined gown for the masquerade?
Where everybody dances like nobody cares
Sleepwalking, lips moving in irreverent prayer

How do you live in a world gone to the dogs?
Or to the mice that live hidden in drug-induced fogs
The roses have faded, the green leaves have all changed
Would that we all were hungry, blind or deranged

Perhaps we'd be searching or moving, instead
Of sleepwalking, tilting, just like we're all
Dead.

Reality or Society
Do you ever realize I don’t look into your eyes when I say hi?
It’s because I’m avoiding your gaze
As I look at a new page knowing nothing’s ever going to change between us
I know I shouldn’t be ashamed of how I look but society’s scripted my mind into thinking
If I don’t look a certain way then I should be hung by a hook
So I say I shouldn’t even try.
That Katty, you’re not pretty, you’re one in a million in this city
Like he’d pick you Chilin’ with no titties
Walking with no ass
I don’t even have to ask.
Because society illuminated my mind
I’m blinded, can’t see reality.
Wait—I’m confused…
Was it society that blinded me or was it my brainwashed reality?
Now he thinks to himself
“It’s not worth the humiliation”
And I think to myself
“I’m not worth his communication”
So we stop talking through our faces and pass with a wave through the school hallways
That could be confused with mazes
So that is how the story is solved
A supposed beauty that screams every time I look into a fogged mirror.

The Death Song of a Lonely Soul

Hiding is my identity
the shadows are my friends
quiet is my haunting spirit.
My soul was scorched by the fire
that still burns in my mind.
I have been pushed away from love and
hidden behind lies.
Nightfall is when I can hide
yet by day in bitterness I reside.
My heart is like a wilting flower
it dies one petal at a time.
Some prayers will never be answered
and some dreams are eternally deferred.
Be not this terrible curse for I never need

feel the pain because no matter the happenstance
or the cruelty, hiding will forever be my identity.

Once upon a time I hated you

you told me it could never be true.

I said you've hurt me too deep to be healed

you said my inner feelings would weald.

now I have a message that you must hear:

know I’m not your ghost anymore

even if I’m the toy you love the most.

know that I don’t love you

I know that you're just using me.

Your words are meaningless

your actions are useless

I will never forgive you for what you have done.

I’m not the bag that lands your punches

I’m not the parachute that breaks your fall

I’m not yours, so give me up.

hatred is all I have left for you.

When I opened that door,

My world collapsed.

The walls came crashing down,

Leaving me exposed, all alone.

Five poor souls, lost to corruption

Unable to return.

Now I shed these solitary tears,

Thinking back to those joyful years,

When I was just a little girl,

And you showed me the world.

Why did you have to leave me behind?

The tears are clouding up mind.

All is lost, don't you see?

You left me behind with all this misery.

But I must remember what the prophet (s.a.w.) said,

Cannot forget,

Not to weep for the dead:

Souls gone before our time.

Family mourned and wept by those still around,

Shall be punished in the ground*.

As an open wound,

I lie here, on my bed,

Hoping for some sleep.

While pains arise,

The good years pass by.

An innocent family:

Gone in the blink of an eye.

My heart shall remain forever broken

As my family has become.

A home no longer open,

For those on the outside.

* Hadith:“The one who is wailed for is tortured on account of it.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Real Americans
Anyone who goes around saying that they are a “Real American” or a “true Christian” is someone who believes that they are better than others. They think that just because they are white or were born in America that they are somehow better than someone from Africa, or Poland, or China etc. Who moved to America and is now a legal American citizen, this in the same thing that happens with the handicapped or the homosexual. People get these ideas in their head that these people are not, “Real Americans”. This is absolutely ridiculous. The root of these problems are the same old prejudices that been here for ages. Some try to use the bible as their excuse to discriminate against a certain group of people, but it is just a scapegoat for their prejudices. Within the pages of the bible, there is a verse that says not to eat anything “toevah” when talking
about kosher food; they slip in that a man should not sleep with a man. Somehow
the “Real Christians” decide that when it comes to the bible they can pick and
choose what they will practice or believe. Because I know plenty of those types
who are opposed to homosexuality, but don’t give the light of day about Kosher
laws. If they believe that everything God says is true then why don’t they follow all of his laws?
These types seem to think that their religion is so much better than everyone else’s.
It is the same way in politics. Just because these some people have problems
with a certain political party, they automatically classify this party as “un American”.
So now anybody they have a problem with they can now classify as not a real American.
Who are they to judge someone else? I never heard god telling us to persecute
anyone they we think is committing a sin. I got the impression that god told us
to love everyone, even those who sin against his laws. So next time you hear
someone classify somebody else as not being “Real American” or a “Real Christian”
think twice before you join in the prosecution.
