I love hearing old stories, and i've heard a lot, but my favorite part is when someone takes one of those stories and throws their own spin on it.
That's my challenge, write your favorite fairytale, folktale, or fable with your own spin. When you write it remember to tell me which one you're remaking. It can be something already submitted, just let me know which one it is.
Prizes are-
1rst place; Comments and 5 star rating on 3 works
2nd; Comments and 4 star (unless deserving higher) rating on 2 works
3rd: Comments and 3 star (unless deserving higher) rating on 1 work

I will submit my piece "A Tell-Tale Mole," please :). It's a spin-off of Edgar Allan Poe's "A Tell-Tale Heart." Hope you like it!

Awesome! You haven't reviewed my short story "The Interview," have you? If so, I'd like you to read that as well as my poem "We Are Like the Leaves." Both of these are on my profile page, and the last piece, which will be a poem, hasn't been submitted yet, but I'll type it up here by tomorrow. Thanks! ^_^
