Okay! I'd like to submit my poem, "A Love Forsaken."

No one can ever
understand the pain I feel
from losing you so.

No one hears my screams
of anguish or sees my face
streaked with tears.

Alone I suffer
in silence, reliving the sting
of your betrayal.

I threw away all
of the letters you wrote--now
stained with deceit.

Confused I feel
in so many ways--how could
this have happened?

The red rose that once
was precious and beautiful,
lays withered, broken.

Mediocrity

Life is the name of this mediocre being
That clings onto me day in and day out.
It cause me to sing and dream
When I want to just scream and shout.

Love is the name of this mediovre feeling
That resides in my heart night and day.
When played with, it gives me a pain that is searing,
And I wish it would just go away.

Austin is the name of this mediocre person
Who believes he's worth less than the dirt on your shoes.
He wishes his life would hurry up and be done
Cause he'll never find someone else again; especially not someone like you.

Dream is the name of this mediocre aim
That makes me think I'll be more than them all someday
But while that tries to happen I'll just keep getting old,
And I'll just keep enduring these mediocre ways.

Here is my poem. 'Dusk' As my soul rushes out over my  Two lips do the petals Lie on the grave Ashes and dust do lay on the Pristine beauties as saplings Spring out of the ground As Time brushes by the tombstone  Will sink into the Earth Crows caw, the spirit's descent  Into bliss, warm shadows O, do the beauties grow- the Dusty lilac proof of your Existence The essence lingers, Shadow again

"Freedom"

Freedom is being free

Its to be what you want to be

Its to go were you want to go

Freedom is being free

Freedom is being free

Its to speak as you wish to speak

Its letting the whole World what you think

Freedom is being free

Freedom Is Doing what you wish to do

Even if it is out of the blue

That is being free

Freedom is Being,Going,Speaking,Doing

What you wish to

That is being Free

I met you today,
I think I've known you forever.
I spoke to you today,
I think we talked for hours.
I thought about you today,
I can't get you off my mind.
I felt your touch today,
I held your hand everywhere.
I kissed you today,
I felt you kiss me longer.
I heard you say you love me today,
I love you too.
I got proposed to today,
I hope we last forever.
I loved you today,
I know you love me too.
I died today,
I wonder if you remember,
That day we met.

Here is my entry! I'm new to this site, so all the poetry I put up hasn't gone through yet.
Mime It's hard to communicate when
You're silenced by black and white paint.
Gloved white hands try to express,
But none understand the charade.

A face that carries a masked smile,
But eyes that shine emptily through.
Deep inside you know the truth.
They don't and won't understand you.

Dressed in stripes like a criminal,
You are locked up inside your act.
Your invisible brick walls
Ironically imprison you.

So take your invisible rope
Wrap it around your throat.
Knot, pull taut.

Jump.

Is it still an act?

A Poem To My Friends

You are my rope;

When I need to be held up

You are my arms;

When I need a hug

You are a star;

When I need a wish

You are like a the kings feast;

Shiny, new, and interesting like the silver dish

You mean more to me then you will ever know;

You are my family away from home

I hope I have helped you,

As you have helped me:

Cause if not,

The guilt and sorrow will eat me. <3

All my friendships gone to waste,

As I move into this new place,

A place soon to be called my home,

It won’t feel that way I’ll be all alone,

You are my love so you’ll always be in my heart,

No matter our distance,

Apart.

I can't stand the fact that everyone seems to hurt,
it seems like it happens after they meet me,
it feels as if im to blame for all their pain,
i can't stand to live,
life isnt suppose to be like this,
thats why im sitting here with a gun in hand,
held up to my head,
this is the same gun that took his life,
i was told it was my fault,
thats what they told me after they dismissed my case,
Hes the one to blame,
He held me down,
He chose to rape me,
He had the nerve to look at me the day of the trail,
He was proven innocent,
so i took it in to my own hands.
