Come on, you know who you are. -.-
I totally called that he was her brother and Valentine was their dad (book 1). And then I flipped to the end and was like, "Oh cool, I was right" and didn't read the rest of it. Lol, apparently they're worth it, though. The thing is, I really didn't like Jace, only slightly liked the main character, and really liked everyone else.
He was kinda obnoxious...and dumb. I liked Simon better, even if he did feel sorry for himself a lot lol.
Simon was a great character, especially with how he kept trying to make Jace jealous... I still think Jace was a more likable character, though. Annoying, egotistical, and arrogant, interspersed with adorable romance monologues - what more could you want?
oh oh i do i do*jumps up and down crazily* that series is amazing! XD
Yeahhhh I LOVED Jace...he was my favorite character... no actually Magnus is... yeah
I loved Simon, not Jace so much though, until the later books. I heard that clockwork angel wasn't good though? So I'm not sure if I'll read it. The series was pretty amazing though <3
YESYESYES
finally. none of my friends read that type of fantasy, and it seriously relieves me that cassandra clare's name is out there somewhere.
i think the characters in the series are very well developed, especially Jace.Clockwork Angel was AMAZINGGGGG. It didn't really have much directly to do with the Mortal Instruments series, but I positively loved it. Picking it up and reading it is diffecult at first, through the first like 8 pages or something, but a lot of books are like that. Aand it had Magnus in it aswell, which was really cool albeit unexpected.
I started reading city of bones today!! hope its good!
I AM RIGHT HERE AND LOVING IT!!!
ok, can't wait for next one to come out, in like 13 days!!!!!!
and, tho i know you won't believe me, i totally called that Jace was related to Imogen.........and not Clary. lol.Clockwork Angel was a worthwhile read. And who doesn't like Jace???? Ummmmmm, crazy people???? Simon is cool and all, but it's Jace who really cracks me up.
SPOILER ALERT!! IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE FOURTH BOOK YET, DON'T READ THIS!!!!!Didn't the fourth book just ruin your day? Clare just went on and on about SImon's love triangle and then remembers the whole Clary and Jace thing as a side note. After all that, she waits until like the last five chapters to get into some action and then she brings Sebastan back. What's up with that?
I LOVE THIS SERIES! lol it's true. simon's awesome. Jace is too...a litle mean, but Clar yputs him in his place. Magnus cracks me up.
I'm currently in the process of reading the 4th one, but my sister likes to spoil things, so I know a lot of what happens! Haha :)
Okay, so who loves Magnus and Alec? (Malec)
That's my favorite thing about the sereis. Jace is funny, but kind of gets on my nevres. Simon is hilarious too. I want Simon to end up with Maia :)Jace is just one of those people that is pretty much self-centered and obnoxious, but I couldn't help but falling in love with him. He has sweet moments that are truly touching and cracks jokes that I literally laugh out loud at (and get some funny looks at school or in public). I love all 4 books, but Fallen Angels did get on my nerves a bit (absolutely HATED the ending though. I mean, really? He got the freaky mark in a dream and it shows up in real life) I'd recommend this book to pretty much anyone interested in quality fantasy
I agree with paige14 and the ending bit! I thought everything that happened could have been completely avoided...
I LOVE those books. I honestly like Simon the best. Way better than Jace. And I can't wait to see if they actually become movies. I'll be able to see Simon as a real person. =]
