SO. I am looking for some books to read... I like fiction and am looking for a challenge. Any good ideas for me? Thanks!
you could try some classics, like Dracula or Jane Eyre, that one's pretty good. Or if not, The House of the Scorpion is really good...if you like dystopian stuff. The Brief History of the Dead is a cool book about a future where humanity accidentally wipes itself out. I don't know--what kind of stuff do you usually like to read?
The Hunger Games, Vampire Academy, House of Night, Gallagher Girls (if you're a girl...I really don't think guys would enjoy it, though they might), Uglies/Pretties/Specials, The Circle of Magic, The Circle Opens....uh....Angels and Demons, The DaVinci Code, Deception Point, The Lost Symbol, Digital Fortress...uh....that's all I can think of at the moment =)
Have you ever read Lord Loss? It's a great book, though it's not much of a challenge.
harry potter, Gone, hunger games, Shiver and Hush Hush are okay, though a little cliche'...ummmmummmummmmmummmummmumm i heart percy jackson, and i like sara dessen books (realistic fiction) and "life as we know it" is good too.
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte is challenging but very good.
The Mortal Instruments seriese
Vampire Acadamey books
Shiver & LingerFallen & Torment
fallen and torment aren't really good.... I'm a fan of Shiver and the mortal instruments though(so far. just finished the first book)

I highly recomend the book The Boy from the Basement. It is an amazing book but it can be confusing at times, so there is a challenge for ya. It is fiction and it is written by Susan Shaw. You can look up the book reveiw I have written on it to get a good idea of what it is about.
If you have a Kindle or Nook, you could try The Listener, by Maris E. McCambley. It has lots of action, neat characters (both human and animal), and lots of suspense.
Here is the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4d3Bua_vjA

If you like murder mysteries, Halloween Party by Agatha Christie is really good, and so is The Killings at Badgers Drift by Caroline Graham. One more is Death of a Bore by M.C Beaton. If you like action comidies, there is the Alex Barnaby series by Janet Evonovich, in book and graphic novel form. I know a few more if you don't like the sound of those.
looking for alaska or an abundance of katherines or the fault in our stars (all by John Green)
I think you should read Tamar by Mal Peet
You should deff read the Hunger Games esp. since the movie will be out soon. Also, The Mockingbirds by Daisy Whitney is a good read for guys or girls especially if you've read To Kill A Mockingbird
there are lots of good books and also the challenging ones. i'd prefer you choose classical lit. its nice and challenging. :))
I'm a fan of both the Harry Potter series and the Hunger Games, and if you are too, you might like "The Maze Runner" by James Dashner. It's relatively new, and it's seriously a thriller book! It was the first time a book had my heart pounding!
You should read The Limit by:? and The Eleventh Plague by:? and The Alex Rider series by:Anthony Hortwitz even though they are easy...to me.
Shiver, definately, and the sequels.
DeliriumMortal Instruments and Infernal Devices
Agree with The Austinator. Just finished this book. It's amazing! Ok, it's to do with the war but it's a real page turner. :D
