This is such a cool thread, Destinee! Here's a video that I thought was sooooooooooo (times infinity, which is probably impossible--ask a math genious) cool, but I couldn't really get the grasp of it. Maybe I'll watch it again sometiime:

Quantum's already been kinda dosed with it, HAHA.
Half an hour... Man I hate videos T_T
But thanks! I'll watch it when I get the time. And by that I mean when I finish watching all of Drop Dead Diva :D
Haha, of course. I wouldn't dream otherwise. Speaking of which...
By the way, when I'm watching talking head videos, I usually play a card game or chess or something.
I used to be addicted to Chess. I am unaddicted now but that game is awesome.
ANWYAY THIS THREAD WILL NOT BE DERAILED.
This is for any theist who might be in a bad place :)
I. Am. The. THREAD DERAILER.
Anyway, I watched your vid and actually? I was put in a trance just listening to it. You know those kind of lectures where you just listen and have your mouth hanging open drooling? Thanks for the vid, it has a very good message, and I do believe that the Islamic Religion does have quite a bit of truth within it. Maybe you're not that crazy.
I like this one too :P

I agree with the video mostly, but I would say that is good to talk about these things, but in a way that adresses them. It's not okay to talk about them as if these bad this are good and fun, but you don't want to shove it under the rug, if you know what I mean.
Here's a vid that I found profound and meaningful. Actually kinda mirror's my thoughts on h o m o s e x u a l i t y (for the most part).

Wow DrBug glad you liked it :D NAK is really cool IMO. Also:
"I agree with the video mostly, but I would say that is good to talk about these things, but in a way that adresses them. It's not okay to talk about them as if these bad this are good and fun, but you don't want to shove it under the rug, if you know what I mean."
I think he doesn't mean like, the concept of shamelessness, but an actual shameless act. He does say you can talk about shameless things if it helps the situation. But as for, for instance, how to deal with p.orn addiction or something, you definitely can and should talk about it.
And cool! I'll watch that too XD I have too many vids to watch ahh!
*Doctorbug has this really strong urge to chant about Destinee and too many videos to watch*
I found the h o m o s e x u a l i t y vid very empowering and lesson learning. I think that even the non-christian will appreciate how the speaker (forget his name--oneminuteapologist or something--blame Collin for me finding that vid on my YouTube rampage--listened to the whole thing I'll add)...where was I? I think that even the non-christian will appreciate how the speaker emphasises how you can't pick and choose what you want from the bible and then throw the rest of the book out at the same time as saying "I believe in the bible".
So doctorbug: do you follow all the eating and clothing material rules?
Here's a video I just found so profound. I think half.note will especially enjoy it: ht tp://ww w.youtube.co m/watch?v=KaPn_pKQt0s
Quantum: yes. I do. There's always a few slips (like I actually have eated bacon by accident), but I try hard.
Here's the amazing clip (mentioned in above vid) of snowflakes falling in SAUDI ARABIA O-O and they're all identical in the shape of a Star of David.
"I think half.note will especially enjoy it"
Okay, well I have to watch it now. :P
*realizes it's almost two hours long*
Okay... I'll watch it later after I get caught up with all the posting I want to do today. :)
God bless. ♥
"There's always a few slips (like I actually have eated bacon by accident)"
Oh yeah. I accidently ate a real hamburger once. They'd changed the packaging so my mom had bought what she had assumed was vegetarian burgers....
Just as an interesting fact: vegetarians are proven to have a longer life expectancy.
Seventh-day Adventists in particular (who are almost all vegetarians and follow the health laws in the Bible and counsel given by Ellen White) are considered one of the longest living groups in the world.
Adventist men live an average of 6.2 years longer and Adventist women live 3.7 years longer. :)
We're so healthy that we're often used as test subjects in health studies (see: mjm.ag/12PGwmf and bit.ly/16S18qQ ).
Thought that was kinda cool. :)
They played this video at the devotional at Georgia Boys State. It gave me chill bumps. Interesting seems like the best word to describe it.

I don't understand how anyone can live without bacon.
^ Much longer.... XD
