Pro Life vs Pro Choice

Oct. 31, 2013 at 7:11 am

* as even the predictions for the earliest times are at about 18 weeks in. But like y’all said, people dunno. It goes from like 18-29 or something.

Medical ab.ortions are for really early abortions only (whats your stance on them btw?), and surgical abo.rtions are for later ones. People tend to get a surgical ab.ortion cuz it’s less painful and stuff lol.

Biased does mean it’s not as reliable. It’s very possible to use unbiased statistics and resources, so that’s what im gonna stick with here. Biased pieces exaggerate some parts and glaze over others. Like yours just highlighted on the dismembering of the fe.tus and then kinda threw in ’slang’ as a joke or something. I literally cannot take that piece seriously.

Also, the its my body argument comes from the fact that a fe.tus is just a clump of cells attached to your idek.

finally one more thing, im talking about legslly. When are you ’legally dead’?

This is going to sound stupid, but I've said more stupid things before...

Even if the brain hasn't fully developed, how are you sure the baby isn't conscience?

Mckay:
There's probably a point where the brain develops enough to be conscious but I don't know when that is.

Check the numbers. Brain is fully developed at around 8 weeks. Consciousness estimated as early as 18.

A meeting was held between a group of pastors. In the meeting, they discussed when life begins. A baptist suggested that life begins at conception. A catholic said life begins when the baby is born. Most of the pastors argued over this for several minutes until one of them asked an elderly evangelical free pastor his opinion. The aged man replied "Life begins when the kids graduate and move into college".

Personal opinion: If there's a chance something can be human, we should always asume its human. And the killing of humans is wrong. Especially if their cute.

Pro-life. I believe it technically is killing, if the mother does not want to keep or can't financially support the baby, someone will adopt the child.
A.borting is denying a human of their chance to live.

Meep:
"Someone will adopt the child."
Care to give us any stats or actual cite-able resources? Also, kids in foster care/ orphanages potentially suffer neglect, physical abuse, s-xual abuse ... I don't think it's that black and white. Also, there's a high rate of kids who come from orphanages who are homeless once they turn 18. There aren't always people who want to adopt kids, especially when most of them have had serious problems/trauma so that they were put up for adoption.

Also, what if the em.bryo is deformed in some way and has no chance of living a normal life? Say, someone with Tay-Sachs, where their life spirals down and they die as a toddler. Or if they have other genetic diseases that make it physically impossible for them to function. Would you want that for your kid?

Okay, I'mma just mention something. LEGALLY SPEAKING, a person is dead when they're brain stops functioning. By that logic, life ends when the brain stops. Also by that logic, life begins when the brain does. This basically means, again, LEGALLY SPEAKING, life doesn't begin until the brain is fully functional, about 6-8 weeks in. With this, at the very least medical ab.ortions should be legal.
