Well, I've been listening to this song almost nonstop for the past few days:

ht tp://youtu.be/8VdfnwS6emo

(those uncomfortable with h.omos.exuality or violation of gender stereotypes beware -- this song may be a little too progressive for you)

Thanks, again, guys! ^u^

I started listening to the music you've been linking, but I ended up working 12 hours yesterday and haven't really had the time.
I'll try to get it all done by the beginning of next week.
(And if you think of any other songs I might like then feel free to link them.)

God bless. ♥

No, sorry. Only a few. :P

I work 7:00-3:30 and then my friend came over today afterwards and I helped her with science (she's taking a summer course through module).

I recognize most of the songs you linked, though, Quantum. They play them on my favourite radio station a lot. ^w^

My favourite artists:
-The Beatles (of course :P)
-Muse
-Mother Mother
And then it's hard to say after that....
Maybe Paul McCartney (he did some great solo work), Cat Stevens, Coldplay, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes/ Alexander, and Klaatu.
It's hard to narrow it down. :P

And I'll try to listen to all those songs you guys so kindly recommended tonight. :)

Okay, so I listened to every song/soundtrack posted on here. Here are my thoughts:

Half.note's theme song (Good day Sunshine by the Beatles): okay, so you've got a great theme song. Darnit. I admit it!

Halfnote's next link (Postcards from far away by Coldplay): Hmm. So I don't really like piano music believe it or not. Unless I'm like: in the same room as the piano playing.

*Runs away and hides*

Half.note's third link (Muse – Madness): Okay, so never look at the Youtube comments. Ever. When will I ever learn? It's like I'm banging my head against a wall repeatedly. As for the song, I liked the beat, what is that? Dubstep?

Half.note's fourth link (Muse – Glorious): EEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCC!!!! Nuff said.

Stuntddude's first link (Soft Spectrum something or other): soulful beautiful instrumental – whatever. Just not what I expected from you, I admit. When did I start judging a book by it's cover? I guess this is my day of eating humble pie.

Emancipator – Elephant Survival (Stuntddude): Okay, so where do you find this music?

People are Crazy – Billy Currington (Quantum): Deep.

Zac Brown - Knee Deep (Quantum): that was actually quite entertaining.

Nindiya Re HD, Kaavish, Coke Studio Pakistan (Destinee): What is he singing about? Otherwise, beautiful!

Strings – Dhaani (Destinee): I really wish I knew what the lyrics were. You have somewher where I can get an English translation? The music is absolutely amazing!

Of Monsters and Men – The Sinking Man (Floree): Quite...entrancing.

Avenged Sevenfold – Almost Easy (Floree): Actually, this kind of music makes me very sad and depressed. I used to love it and listen to it all the time but now I can't really, mostly because I just wonder sometimes if the singers have any happiness. It just seems like a coping mechanism to me. Heartbreaking music. But maybe that's why we listen to it? Because this kind of music actually brings forth the true need of the human spirit to just be loved.

Bryan Adams – Summer of 69 (Quantum): I always love songs with life stories in them :)

Bryan Adams – Everything I do (Quantum): You have some really beautiful music here. It actually makes me think of creating a poetry thread where we could all share our...well, poetry—duh!

Billy Joel – Piano Man (Quantum): suddenly I have a lot of anxiety. Not sure if it has anything to do with the music though.

Billy Joel – The Entertainer (Quantum): Just listening to all this music from all of you guys makes me think: Life is beautiful.

The Eagles Hotel California (Quantum): Actually, I'm not really analyzing the music anymore. I'm just listening and having fun :P

The Eagles – Desperado (Quantum): Sad music. Now I'm going to go eat something.

The Eagles – Heartache Tonight (Quantum): Again, just listening for the fun of it.

Bruce Springsteen – Born To Run (Quantum): I really really like this one.

Stuntddude: regarding your link to that one song that might have been too progressive...I couldn't get it to work.

Ohmigosh, Floree! Imagine Dragons – Radioactive is one of my favourite songs!

My favourite artists/bands/composers. But I generally like most trailer music, doesn't matter where from. I like:

Two Steps From Hell

Valentin Wiest

Thomas Bergersen

Linkin Park

Danny Cocke

John Dreamer

The Piano Guys

Audiomachine

Future World Music

Murray Gold

Epic Score

Enya's Album “Paint the Sky With Stars”

Hans Zimmer

Mark Petrie

Jack Wall (Myst Game Music)

Sonic Librarian

Imagine Dragons is awesome =w= You ever listen to Working Man? Dude, I love it :P

And Almost Easy is not depressing, do you know what's depressing? M.I.A. by a7x. THAT song's depressing. And I Won't See You Tonight. Both parts.

And if y'all dont mind more, um, explicit songs, Good Girls Bad Guys, Pick Up The Phone, and F.uck The Rest by Falling in Reverse are pretty awesome. Less explicit songs by them would be I'm Not a Vampire, Game Over (catchy as frick XD), Drifter, Sink of Swim... dude, I literally love ALL their songs XD They only have two albums out, so yeah.

Also, a Little Piece of Heacen has a great but twisted story in its lyrics. I recommend not watching the music video if you're squeamish ^^;

Oh! And All Signs Point to Lauderdale. LOVE that song =w=

Fiction by a7x has some really cool piano parts and singing by The Rev before he, you know... *ahem* Anywayssss.....

Yeah, I just like those bands ^^;

Lol! I probably would only listen to them for your sake and then only once. Explicit songs do make me squeamish.

XD Well, F* ck the rest really only has that one line that's explicit, Good Girls, Bad guys has lines like "I just wanna kiss your lips/the ones between your hips", and Pick Up the Phone's basically sung by an abusive boyfriend or something like that ^^; Little Piece of Heaven is more explicit that that, mainly cuz the story's just reaaallllyyyy twisted.

Uh...you do realize you're talking to a conservative christian? Just reminding you, cause I thought it was ironic in a twisted way. You're okay if I just skedaddle out of here? I'm not trying to be rude...just really uncomfortable. Not because I think some Eye is watching me, but because I can't trust myself to actually talk about music like that without A) offending you (a person that I don't really want to be mean to), or B) say something not so loving. You know I don't really think music like that is good, but know that I don't think any less of you because of it...and I think I've just committed A (offended you). So I'm going to shut up and skedaddle off.

XDDDD looool dude, I understand, don't worry about it. It's why I didn't bring it up first :P Most peeps don't like that sort of music, but I like to hold myself as an actual music fan, not some poser ^^ That basically means I'll listen to anything, and there's almost no song I don't like. Except the One Piece theme song. It's annoying as hay e.e;

But yeah, I like being a true music fan ^^ I'll listen to FiR to OMAM to a7x to Imagine Dragons (which doesnt have a cool acronym like dude, wat).

You honestly cannot offend me unless you completely degrade a genre of music with stupid comments like "that music sux" or "that's not music it's noise" or, being Christian, "you're gonna go to he.ll for listening to that". Otherwise, I understand why most people don't like certain types of music.

Lol, Floree! You're not going to he.ll for listening to that kind of music. I did po.rn and a few other lustful things for crying out loud and I'm not going to he.ll.

Woah...that was just kinda spontaneous. Like I was supposed to say it or something. I'm as freaked out as you.
