I'm a Mormon with a sarcstic sense of humor, really conservative in some areas but liberal in others. I'm really busy now but after the AP tests are over in a month or so I'll have time to work on this.

Also, talking in the Google Doc was really fun, we should create just a regular chat document for everyone on Teen Ink.

But for the purpose of writing this book, we should maybe try to establish a set time where a majority of the people can log on and discuss ideas.

Since Quantum came up with the idea, maybe we can all go from his time zone, and then start working out times we're all available.

What's your time zone, Quantum?

US Eastern Time. During the weekends I'm good pretty much whenever. My weekdays are pretty busy until school gets out in a month although I can find time here and there.

Also, how about we combine Dynamo's and half.note's titles: Through the Minor Lens: A Collection of Philosophical Debates

On second thought, it may be just easier to go from the Teen Ink time.

So since it's 7:30 for me and Teen Ink says it's 9:30, I'm two hours ahead.
So I could say:
I'm available in the afternoons Mon-Fri from about 5:30 pm - 1:00 am (TI time), and all weekend except for Saturday morning from about 11:00 am - 3:00 pm (TI time).

That way it's easy to find a common time we're all free.

Sound good?

As for the title, I think it sounds pretty good, but we'll really have to hammer out our options.

A good title is key, in my opinion.
It has to give the reader an idea of what the book is about, even before they crack the cover, and it has to motivate the reader to want to read more.

dude, that title sounds cool, but kinda boring to me ^^; but that's just cuz im the type of person who wont pick up a book without pictures in it XD Oh! I wanna put pictures in it! :D:D:D //shot/

And i actually have no idea what TI time is XD But my time's pretty similar to Quantum's. ET, free most of the weekend, but keep in mind i sleep till like 12:00 and then sometimes we go shopping for a few hours. And on weekdays i have school until 3 or 4.

lol okay, titles... how about, "What Teenagers Think About When They're Bored" XDXDXDXD //shot again/

lol okay, i have no clue.

Yeah. I'm actually on TI time. Mon-Fri from like 10:30-12:00 I'm usually free, depending on homework.

Also, I wrote a little forward in the doc if anybody wants to come read it and comment. Do you think it should be in 1st or 3rd person? SuperFloree and I can't decide?

Floree:

TI time is just the time that appears under your screen name after you post. Compare that relative to the actual time you posted, and you know how far off it is from your time zone.
For example, mine is two hours ahead.

This way, we can communicate when we're available without having to know everybody's individual time zone. :)

As for the title. I really don't think philosophy is what the average teen thinks about when they're bored... XD

Quantum: I really like the forward. I think it's better in first-person because it makes us seem real and relatable. I think in third it would sound too detached.
