I see it too. What's happening? Are the Mods messing with us cause we made fun of them?

When the mods finally get around to approving censored posts from like, months ago, the threads are bumped. #LearnToObserve.

I, the glorious TI Moderator, have approved the bumping of these threads in all my majestic moderator powers.

MY POWER IS SO MODERATE, YOU WILL FEAR IT

OR AT LEAST BE MODERATELY CONCERNED ABOUT IT

Really, Destinee? I never knew that....though I had noticed over time how a bunch of threads would mysteriously be bumped every blue moon... #MindBlown

Also, I vote that Destinee should make a Twitter account (if she hasn't already). Or Breece, for that matter, to showcase his megalomania XD

Y'know, part of me considered making a thread titled

"YOUR OWN THREAD"

just so I could say I started "YOUR OWN THREAD" like you asked me to.

Then I realized that with all the new people and thread bumping it would just make it harder to find stuff.

BUT THEN I DID IT ANYWAYS.

I'm moderately concerned about Breece's moderate moderation powers.

Also about Leafy's sudden cu.ltish tendencies.

Me, cu.ltish? Psh.

*points torch towards Imagine*

Your imagination is getting a bit dangerous, eh? You'd make a sufficient sacrifice to the Gods.

....er, sorry 'bout that again. Mods. Not Gods. That's what I meant.

Yeah.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome... TheKing! Been here for a while now (for the love of... has it really been that long???). I'm one of the TI veterens Dess didnt see fit to mention (*glares, then smirks :P *)

Short story short, I'm the resident atheist who, before you get to know me, will come off as a massive a-hole. Prone to ridiculous metaphors, sarcastic and absurdist humour (I know I've got something about nuking the glass ceiling somewhere in here, Dess called me out on that one :) ), and post-lengths which rival that of Encyclopedia Britannica as written by Charles Dickens, you'll find your first few conversations with me harrowing at best, if not because of my legendary genius then because of my aforementioned jackarsery. Just know that I mean the best! Hey Dess, great thread by the way!

Oh my gosh, I was mentioned! I feel special :D

I've been around a loooong time folks. Since May of 2008, back when this site din't even have a filter system, there were like 15 regular users, and you could private message others. Good times.

For the newbies, I tend to spend most of my time on the Health section, but like to come on here every now and then to talk a bit of logic, or science. I still make mistakes though, so happy to be challenegd as long as I'm listened to as well. There's no shame in being wrong! It will actually help you to learn!

Spoiler warning: I'm not a teen anymore, but I'm not a creeper either. I've been here since I was 16 (do the math) and I find it hard to let go of things, especially when I think I can offer something (hence why I spend most of my time on the health section talking about mental illness).

Anyways, while we're doing intros:

I'm Collin. I'm politically Conservative and a devout (at least I hope so? Maybe the term's too relative . . .) Southern Baptist Christian who, in person, has a charming personality and a Southern drawl that randomly kicks in from time to time. I have a strange obsession with knowledge (especially that about people), and have a fetish for really old books; however, I also play soccer, football, and now baseball to convince myself I'm not a nerd.

I believe, and often express, my opinion that fellow Conservative Christians are missing out on a treasure trove of wisdom their worldview holds by clinging to surface level formalities rather than discovering the depth of human nature as revealed by Scripture and natural revelation. I have a major mancrush on G.K. Chesteron and C.S. Lewis, and agree with them that life is an unfolding story, in which good and evil are in very real conflict. I believe sincerely that the shallow nature of modern western society has grown out of their refusal to look at the spiritual nature of man seriously rather than just approaching it with stupid aphorisms or not at all. It's my life goal to help people by becoming a pastor or professor/public speaker dedicated to bringing back the Academic side of evangelical Christianity and fund missions projects as well as work on relations between religions and nations.

Though my main purpose in life at the moment is to convert TheKing so he changes his username to TheServantofJesus and Destinee to change her profile picture to a cross-shaped piece of bacon.
