"Man belongs neither to the natural nor the supernatural era. He is distinct from both."

This is just a statement. Discuss it if you like, I won't drop in or explain.

What do you mean by 'natural' or 'supernatural' era? And where did this statement come from?

Natural or supernatural in whatever way you comprehend it. And this is my own statement delivered in a manner slightly different from the original.

Man has to belong to one or the other (if not both) because we are truly alive in the natural (I'm sure even an atheist can agree with that). And we have a spirit which exist in the supernatural (assuming that the supernatural is real); thus we we are not distinct from both, but rather we exist in both. (I hope that made sense lol)

The prologue: we are like an electromagnetic wave.

Well, I guess that mankind is not entirely natural- we're far too different from all other animals. I think our imaginations and relationships cannot be adequately explained by science. But we're defintely not supernatural.

I don't think we're distinct from both- that would require living in neither a natural nor supernatural world. Instead, I agree with Kenrichi. We are involved with both the natural and supernatural.
