Go pack go! They legit?
I have no idea. Football is overrated. :P
:o i forgot about this thread!
Artgirl: haha no it's not!:P btw they lost to the 49ers:(
but the vikings lost too!!!! soooo Happy!!!!!:)
Haha. I like sports, but I've never been able to get into football. I think it's kinda barbaric, to be honest. Tennis and baseball are so much better.
Anyways, I think the Packers are supposed to be good, aren't they? I dunno about the Vikings. I think there are too many football teams, lol.
Psh. Packers? Go Broncos, buddy :P
Artgirl: tennis...nah, lol not much of a sport in my opinion:) although i like volleyball and golf(playing...watching golf is horrid;)) As for the packers theyre considered one of the best and most consistent teams, they rarely dont go to the playoffs. And the vikings are considered a medicore team. And btw theyre are more baseball teams than football teams;) PB:)*
B: being that u live in MI im going to take a guess on ur fan status: bandwagon!;) PB:)*
Packer: No there aren't, there are 30 baseball teams and 32 football teams. Professional American ones, anyway.
And tennis is awesome. I just got into it because of the US Open.
I agree, golf is horrible to watch. It puts me to sleep.
I think the reason I don't like football is because it has no personality. The players' personalities don't really show through. All they do is run the ball and make touchdowns and stuff. :/
Oops;) being that ur excluding the defense, u could make the same argument for baseball. All they do is hit a ball and run around a diamond and stuff. Same with tennis, all they do is hit a ball over the net.:) PB:)*
Hmm...well, in tennis players can pick their outfits and their reactions to points can kind of show personality.
Baseball, though...the players have different skill sets and playing styles (for instance, sidearm pitchers), and they are able to engage in on-field chat, unlike football. (Like when the first baseman and the baserunner have a few words between batters). Plus, the game is much more gentlemanly, without so much pounding into the ground, which I think is nice, being a girl and all. :P
Players also get to talk in the dugout, form routines and, well, it's just more of an emotional game, I think. Or at least a mental game--strategy and all. I know there's strategy in football, but it's more coach-based than player-based, I think. And the players' idiosyncrasies aren't encouraged.
Packer: Im actually a huge lions fan, too :P I just like the broncos for some reason. And the Rams (don't ask for reasoning) :P and tennis is too a sport. Not asking for a debate. Just saying.
B: well hey, your lions are looking good this year! at least against a mediocre(sp) team, just wait 'till they play the packers, BAM! they'll spear them lions, pack up their meat, and eat 'em for thanksgiving:P
Hey vikings aren't that bad, they got AP :P the packers and lions should be a good game this year
that's why is said mediocre, not bad, but not good either. i think they're mediocre if their whole team relies on one player;)
but i'm actually worried about the pack this year, they looked good against the 49ers, but the NFC North looks pretty good this year! black and blue is back, but i think the pack will to the playoffs for sure, they'll probably win the division, but i don't think that they'll sweep the division. I do think that if the packers could stay healthy(which they never do:/) then we could easily sweep the division. but injuries is why we lost to the 49ers we were missing two starters, and Capernick just picked them apart, we stopped his run, but stupid injuries did not allow us to stop the pass. oh well:/
I think the lions could make playoffs this year as a wild card, we'll see;)
Yeah, the packers run offense looks a little shaky to me, with a rookie and all, but I think they could win. Not an 100 percent chance, though. The NFC north is gonna be a VERY competitive division :P
well the Packers did win the super bowl with not a bad running back, but a terrible O-line, so that made our running game stall. We have Rodgers, throwing to nelson, cobb, and finley, and a pretty decent O-line this year. so i think we're in pretty good shape;)
Dude i have Cobb on my fantasy team! :P he's my only good WR :/
