if you don't know what crew is, its Rowing. if you think you're awful at sports because you dont have any coordination: join crew. if you think you're too small or too big: crew needs both.
now, are there any other rowers on here?
Well...I do indoor rowing. Does that count?
well, its not anything like the experience of the actual boat and races and such, but we do inoor rowing two or three times a week. You should try crew! I garuntee its more fun than urging. ug. urgs. need to all burn.
lol I also do indoor rowing...never had the opportunity to actually do the real rowing :/ my dad was in that in college so he wanted me to try.
aw, sucks. Real rowing is a bajillion times better. erging is a huge chore to me, i really dont like it. but i do it anyway..... So no one on here is ACTUALLY part of a crew team...?
I'm thinking of joining crew this spring, I'm 5'6 and on the fence if I should cox (Is that how you spell it?) or row. My sister does it now, and seeing how hard they row, and all of the blisters on her hands I am kinde of scared to row:D
anna:I think you should row. it's great- i've been doing it for over a year now.
I'm going to start coxing this season- im only 5"2'. got any tips?
