Haha! Your brother must've felt awkward!
I've got one! I've got one this time! I wrote like the princess from 'The Princess and The Pea' would've written! On top of ten mattresses. Is that crazy enough?
Rock on. I do that all the time with poetry! XD
Sorry Superhero_Fan, I didn't see your replies! I write poetry in public places I mean! I think eventually your family and freinds get used to your mad writer moments and just let it happen :) Okay, ten mattresses is impressive! I must know, what was up with that?
The craziest place i have written is either under a tree or my basement steps.
Nelehjr, here's the answer to your question: Me and my family went to church camp together, and we were all staying in this big cabin. There's like seven beds, and there were extra mattresses. Someone had stacked up eleven mattresses by the wall, but my mom moved one of them for my little brother. I was still trying to find a cool place to write, and I'd looked everywhere! So I waited until everyone had left, I grabbed my notebook, and climbed the mattresses 'till I got to the top. Okay, actually it was more like a big jump, because I couldn't exactly get a good grip on them. Oh, and they were really thin mattresses. And all I actually wrote in my notebook was 'I wrote this'. Yes, I'm being serious! Well, that's the story. A long one, but that's the story!
*Fistpump!* Rightous! Haha! "I wrote this"? Just to say you did? S'okay. I once stayed up all night in a hotel room ('cause I really wanted to write in a hotel room)...I got two whole sentances...And then scratched them out...Worst part was I was bragging about writing over facebook! XD
Great story telling though, yo!
Thank you, thank you! *bows* I couldn't think of anything else to write, and I wasn't able to stay in my cabin too long, because I had somewhere else to be. Though, I can't remember what else I had to do... Oh well.
Haha! You stayed up all night? I'm not quite that desperate! Thanks for the story though. (P.S. Did you happen to mention that you only wrote two sentences on Facebook?)
That's okay! It still sounds cool!
...I stayed up untill 1am...Not writing all the time...Mostly wishing for sleep...Using the wi-fi...Facebooking compulsivly...XD Yeah, I can't recall if I told facebook of my *ehem* addvances in the story...It's finished now, so there!!!
Haha! You know, you should probably ban me from this thread or something, because I have the feeling I've posted too many replies. So... What book were you writing, and is it on TeenInk? If you tell me, I'll read it and comment on it immediately! Of course, that could be interpreted as a warning... :)
I HAVE WRITTEN IN A HOTEL ROOM, IN THE WINDOW OF A HOTEL ROOM, AND ON A PLANE!!! Ha! Boomsause!
...Anywho...Superhero_Fan, 'sokay. I enjoy conversing with you over this thread. Sssh. Just let it happen :P
What I was working on was the biography of a prince...Who grew into a king...Either way his name was Quillpeck! He's actually a character in a novel I wrote and I figured writing the all of the characters bio's would make the novel better. You know, I could go back, revise, understand everyone better, yatta yatta. So no, to answer your question it's not on teen ink. But you can read the novel once I publish it ;) Hehe! ♥
You aren't banning me?! *cheers* I will definitely read your novel when it's published! And good job on the hotel, window of a hotel, and airplane writing! Thank you again for letting me stay on this thread!
Psh! I don't think I could band you if I tried! Haha! XD And thank ya!
You're welcome! Oh, yeah! If you post a comment and I don't answer, it's because I'm going to be gone until Saturday. That's all. Have a good weekend!
The craziest place I've ever written? hmm,
Thats hard, but I'd have to go with:
Barefoot, standing on the roof of a tractor in a field at the centre of a forest.
Yeah, I know, long story. . . .
What?!? Why was there a tractor in the middle of a forest? And why did you climb on top of it barefoot? For that matter, how did you GET on the tractor?!? I think that's it.
Okay, well it was my grandads tractor.
There was something killing the sheep so we had to keep an I on them to see if we could figure out what was killing them. I was up for the weekend and I went with my grandad to watch them. There had to be at least one person watching them at all times and when my grandad was called back to help with some cattle that had broken into the wrong field, I was asked to stay in the tractor, watch them and call if I saw anything. It was a really hot day but I didn't want to get off of the tractor and since I'm pretty nimble I just pulled myself up on the roof. (I give full credit to my crazy sensei who forced me into having good upper body strength. )
After sitting there for about an hour I got completely bored, pulled out my blackberry and started writing. (I write on my blackberry quite often, got the idea from Lauren Oliver)
Oh, and the field the sheep were in is at the centre of a small forest which my grandad owns. I'm told the trees are good protection from the elements ;)
So anyway, thats how I ended on top of a tractor in the middle of a field in the middle of a forest, writing a scene for a book ;)
Oh, and I was barefoot because it was hot and I had boots on.
I have a tendency to do stupid things like wear boots on the hottest day of the year.
You seem like an awesome person and I can't wait to read some of your writing. POST SOMETHING!!! Oh and *fist pumps* for farming. Who doesn't wear there muk boots 'till they're misserable on a hot day? ;) I just love how they all come in the heat obsorbing color black. Goes great with brown poo ;)
And you're from Galaway! Omg, I just read a poem that takes place in Galaway. I believe it's called Galaway Guy ...Likely by LexusMarie...Don't trust me. Just manage to find it.
Haha! And I thought MY story was long! Now I don't feel so bad! :) Did your grandad ever find out what was killing the sheep?
