He meets her out on the balcony overlooking the beach.  "There's something I have to tell you," he says.  She turns to face him, searching his face for a clue as to what he will say.  He pushes her blonde curls behind her ears and caresses her face.  He stares into her deep blue eyes and says the phrase she's been dying to hear, "I love you."  His hand moves behind her neck as he pulls their faces closer.  Her soft lips press against his in what will be the best moment of their lives.  The kiss is not the longest kiss in the world, nor is it the best, but it is the perfect kiss as far as she's concerned.  It portrays all of the feelings that cannot be put into words.  Their deep love for each other, the nervousness that comes with a first kiss, and the shock that the other person truly loves you.  It lasts only a few moments but it means the world to her.  When he finally breaks away, they just stare into each other's eyes, speaking with wordless voices.  Finally, he says, "I have to go."  And as she watches him leave, unknowingly for the last time, she can still remember that special moment, when she actually felt alive.
