The little things we do accidentally that cause us so much pain. This is stuff like stubbing our toes, that kind of thing.
For Ella and Shane {my characters} its two very old chairs, Shanes braking through. And then for Ella its the combined weight of her and the table Shane knocked on top of her with his fall. [Mine is a bit complex but I thought it'd still fit in this category]
Give your character their moment like this
For Meridian that would be slamming her fist down on a card table to show emotion, but instead just bruising her knuckles.
Lol, yeah Ella could manage that one too. Chris' stupid thing would have tp be his jealousy and snippy comments. He doesn't say them purposely and regrets it every time he opens his mouth to Shane
