Endings are hard, right?

I always find it difficult to end something that I've been writing - it's taken up a lot of my time and, most of the time, I'm really proud of what I've done so I always want to give it an appropriate and fitting ending however this is often easier said than done so I got to wondering how some of you thought of ways to end things that you write? It's always that last sentence that makes me shudder a little inside!

IKR!! It's almost like I can't end without a cliff hanger!  Now I'm writing a book and I'm absolutely fearing how I'm going to end it ... mostly because I can't let myself think of the end of the story otherwise I get bored and walk away from it.  Also nobody likes it when something great ends! Whether reading, writing, or watching!  Good luck with your endings, wish me luck with mine, I'm going to need it. :)
