When I was little, I was very imaignative. You know how little kids play, with fantastic/absurd worlds where everyone is assigned a character and a plot chart would look like a seismograph? Well, I kept that up until about the sixth grade. In sixth grade I actually tried writing one of these down. Also in sixth grade I figured out playing pretend wasn't cool anymore. But luckily, I also figured out I actually liked writing down all the bizarre stories boiling around in my brain, and I haven't stopped since.
I know exactly what you mean, I always played pretend and instead of playing with baby dolls or Barbie’s or stuff like that I played with little toy dogs, cats, and horses :) I started writing around that time to :)
