whenever i come up with an idea i can never get my thoughts onto paper...they never turn out right! any suggestions for ideas or how i can write them down?

I know how you feel. My advice would be to think over your ideas carefully, and write a brainstorm about characters. If you have a specific scene in mind, even if it's from the middle of a story, write that down anyway, because it may lead you to your beginning. Nothing you write has to be in order. It's like a puzzle. In the end, it doesn't matter how you do it, as long as the pieces fit together. To begin a story, write whatever comes to your mind first, and if you don't like it, you can always revise it. Feel free to ask me anything else. I've been in the situation loads of times, because I have 19 stories I work on at once. Hope I helped :)
