I am a humoungous sap and write a ton of love stories, and I find that the way to start is by describing the characters' surroundings in a positive way. You could also begin with a slight conflict, or a joking argument. The best thing is just to keep an open mind, and pretend you are a character. How would you react if you loved another character? One more thing: if you want to create a death/love scene, you could start it with the end and have the main character flash back into the time when her/his lover was still alive. Have her remember it all very crisply as if it had just happened. Best of luck! :)

P.S. Could you give me feedback on my new article A Cold-Hearted Tale, because I want to go into more detail on the character's story, but I don't know how. Any suggestions?

Whenever I write love scenes, I picture the way I want the scene to end, and then work back from there. This way, you can get the basic outline of the sceneand make sure that it all lines up correctly before you add the details!
